“I had an oxtail craving, but didn’t feeling up to shopping and cooking…. Placed my order on the app, and was VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at just how delicious EVERYTHING was!!! “Okay, I had no true plans to enter but the music and man sitting outside, created an atmosphere that was welcoming. The young man at the front that took the order is an introvert (which is okay). He was kind and let me review my order before leaving.
I got one of each patty, jerk chicken and wings. It was great food. The plantains were hands down my favorite of all local spots I’ve tried.
If I had to give any feedback, it was warm inside (reminded me of being home in PR) but still warm. The rice didn’t taste fresh but it was still good.

Again I’ll be coming back and surprised they don’t have a line out the door! ?“

“I ordered beef patties and a chicken patty with coco bread. The patties were good and flaky. The coco bread was just ok. The service was ok but slow and the restaurant wasn’t busy.

The chicken soup had the perfect amount of heat, and the oxtails were fall-off-the-bone tender. The rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains brought it all together beautifully.

“Went into the Kingston, Jamaica branch of Dutch Pot and all I can say is wow! Although I’m Jamaican, I haven’t had authentic tasting Jamaican rice and peas in a while. Dutch Pot changed that today. And the Pasta! We had baked ziti and mac n cheese and I almost ate licked the container the baked ziti came in. Highly, highly recommend for great food and good service!“
