“Happened to come by 1828 while on a girls trip and it was such a sweet place. The girls working were so kind and helpful and just fun to chat with. We also appreciated the kids corner that they have and the cellar downstairs with all the games was so fun. The fireplace w was also so cozy. “This was with a very unique grill with a nice little atmosphere that is different than most places. It is located at an active small airport. There's a lot of memorabilia to see. The food was excellent and the service was very good. I had the pimento cheese burger and it was delicious along with the sweet potato fries that everyone bragged about. The appetizer was fried pickles that everyone at our table enjoyed. This is a little out of the way, but it is definitely worth the trip.”

“Thomaston location. I ordered a Latte and my neighbor got a flavored coffee. We both had biscuits. The coffee and biscuits were great, the service was exemplary, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. The place was also very clean.”

“Fantastic place for breakfast. The pan sausage is to die for. Tastes just like grandma used to make. The flavor is phenomenal. Mac, the owner, immediately greeted me at the door, introduced himself, got me seated in a packed house and even cleaned off the table for me. Then sat down and talked to me for a good 10 minutes. He is one cool cat that runs a tight ship. Highly recommend.”

“A good restaurant does not always have the big fancy building! This place may look like a hole in the wall on the outside but it is a LOT MORE SPACIOUS than it looks! The FOOD here is HOT and YUMMY! I don't waste time on looking at the menu too much because I like to stick with the fundamentals of Mexican Cuisine...TACOS, TACOS, TACOS, and some beans and rice. Thank you MR. JOSE! You kept my coke filled up the whole time I plowed through that monster dinner plate! I came home fat and happy! The price was not too bad either. Put it this way. If a fancier place than this one sells tacos and beans for a little less cost but their food is then I would choose the more expensive cost food to have it served fresh and hot! I have not tried all the Mexican places yet in Barnesville but so far this place outshines anything in Griffin!”

“Date night with the hubs. We like to look for restaurants we've never been to....in out budget. Found Great Wall. Quaint place. Smaller Chinese buffet than Im used to, BUT...I like it like that. Going to these buffets that have 4+ buffet 'carts/tables' with all the food I never eat and cost so much, its a waste of my money. This place has everything I want and a great price! And the staff is super nice, too”

“I was treated to a birthday dinner by my friends this evening. We had two little ones with us who are very animated to say the least. Our server, I believe his name was Jason, (young, blond, very cute) was extremely attentive and gracious to us and our picky ordering. He was very patient and pleasant with a great smile. He made the whole experience worth it for us. He even organised dessert and singing for me. I couldn’t have been happier or more impressed. Thanks Jason for making my birthday memorable! Five stars! “We love American Pie. The food is delicious. We had a bad experience this evening for the first time. They had a new girl taking orders and she apparently never turned in our order. After 45 minutes we asked and the error was found. Mistakes happen, but the way they are handled goes a long way. They weren’t going to tell us what happened, I had to ask. The young lady never apologized even when the other girl working with her did. The manager was nice, but needs to be on top of situations like this to make it right. We weren’t looking for free food, but acknowledging the mistake and sincerely apologizing without having to ask for the manager twice would have been nice.”
