“We ate there while visiting Mentone during Spring Break. Nothing is open in Mentone at the beginning of the week. It was me, my son and his wife and their twin 8 year old boys. We all loved our food. It was a a couple months ago and the twins still talk about it. The fried deviled eggs were amazing! The staff were very friendly and you could tell it was where the locals eat. I will not go to Mentone without eating there!”

“Stopped in at The Great Awakening for a coffee fix and oh man it was worth every bit of the drive! I tried the Campfire (my new favorite), along with the Sea Turtle, Honey Badger, and the Ansley. I’m a sucker for espresso, so of course I added an extra shot (don’t judge lol).

The ladies inside were amazing greeted me with warm smiles right when I walked in. I also want to shout out Jordan, who went above and beyond. Since I have a broken foot, she offered to bring my order out to my car. That kind of customer service is rare and so appreciated!

The coffee itself? Absolutely delicious. Plus, they offer a variety of milk options so you can order exactly to your liking.

“I stopped tonight to get a vegetable plate, they have some of the best vegetables in Summerville. I was disappointed in one of the vegetables I got, the Steamed Broccoli was too spicy, I don't know if it had hot pepper sauce in it or not but something made it spicy/hot and I was unable to eat it because I can't eat spicy food”

I had the Philly and couldn't get it in my mouth fast enough Young man at the window was spot on with the recommendations, and the prices are very reasonable. “We visited Jefferson's again today on 8-31-25 and again Nicole was our server. She was great, she seated us, took our orde,r took care of our drinks, and was friendly and welcoming to our party of 8. Our food came out in a timely matter and was actually what we ordered. Nicole kept our drinks refilled and the food was great. She makes your dining experience excellent!

I usually visit Jefferson's once a week, normally on bingo night. Nicole is usually my server, she's friendly, attentive, always asks if I need anything else while she is still taking care of her other customers. She's the best!”

“We've visited a few times now, and the service has been great. With Waffle House, it's pretty much gonna be the same wherever you stop, but the service is what sets this location apart. Every time we stop, they take good care of us, and they get the food out fast. Definitely recommend!”

“This restaurant has the most polite drive thru young lady ever. Sultaana is sweetest young lady who has a bright future ahead of her. She definitely up sales people. “Went to bk today for lunch. Building was clean and staff was friendly. Workers all seemed to have a designated task and the where steady working. We ordered 2 whoppers and cheese tots. Food was prepared in a timely manner. Hands down some of the most well put together burgers I have seen at a fast food establishment in a very long time. Food was also crisp and fresh.”

The food is a better quality and the service is always great even offering ways to save money while getting the same things you ordered. I love how you can eat burgers or chicken and mashed potatoes.
