“The Hatter Cafe was such a nice surprise and wonderful experience when my Boyfriend and I came to Mentone for a quick weekend getaway. We stopped at the gift shop and had a chat with the owner, ordered 2 loaves of their fresh delicious bread, and came back for dinner at the café. It was amazing and the service was top notch! “I stopped tonight to get a vegetable plate, they have some of the best vegetables in Summerville. I was disappointed in one of the vegetables I got, the Steamed Broccoli was too spicy, I don't know if it had hot pepper sauce in it or not but something made it spicy/hot and I was unable to eat it because I can't eat spicy food”

“Stopped in at The Great Awakening for a coffee fix and oh man it was worth every bit of the drive! I tried the Campfire (my new favorite), along with the Sea Turtle, Honey Badger, and the Ansley. I’m a sucker for espresso, so of course I added an extra shot (don’t judge lol).

The ladies inside were amazing greeted me with warm smiles right when I walked in. I also want to shout out Jordan, who went above and beyond. Since I have a broken foot, she offered to bring my order out to my car. That kind of customer service is rare and so appreciated!

The coffee itself? Absolutely delicious. Plus, they offer a variety of milk options so you can order exactly to your liking.

“By far the best Waffle House location I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot of Waffle Houses. They have great service and management. Eric, who I think is the manager, is an excellent cook. My food is always perfect. Amanda is a great waitress. I always ask for her section. I highly recommend this Waffle House location.”

“I normally don’t post anything but I went to zaxbys in Summerville ga I live about 30mins away order my food at drive through waited for at least 45 minutes then I get home I ordered a house salad I got lettuce and cheese and maybe one are two bites of chicken my husband ordered Zac snack meal chicken was hard and French fries were so hard he could not eat them for the amount that you have to pay I would think you could get better food than what we got.We could have went to ft.Oglethorpe but we thought we would try Summerville”
