Located in Milledgeville, Buffington's is a welcoming spot that offers a unique dining experience. The restaurant has a cozy, dive bar atmosphere and serves a variety of dishes, including the popular "pecking plate" with options like Tempura Shrimp, onion rings, and Chick-arrones. The Backyard Burger is a standout, praised during events like Burger Week for being one of the best, and it is often paired with crispy fried pickles. The Philly steak and cheese sandwich is also a hit. Guests have enjoyed the blackened salmon and Bob Marley creole style rice, as well as perfectly cooked steaks. The restaurant features live music on Fridays and has a friendly staff, including Molly, who is known for being accommodating. While the space could use some renovation, the food and hospitality at Buffington's make it a great spot to grab a meal. Overall, Buffington's continues to impress with its excellent food and inviting atmosphere.
