“The Milner Place Cafe is a small family owned restaurant that puts in so much effort to make their food taste like a real home cooked meal. For breakfast, I usually get the pancake breakfast or french toast meal and both are delicious. For lunch, the daily special never disappoints! So glad to have this local spot that values a home cooked meal!“

“This diner, was a lot better than I was expecting. Good family food, family atmosphere. You won't go wrong coming and trying out any of the menus offerings. We had a large group of 10 everybody had something that they liked. And pricing was quite reasonable. That is what is important right now in these times. The good bang for your bucks!“

“You need to stop here when in Barnesville if you want a superior BBQ experience. With a variety of proteins including beef, pork, chicken, and fish, you won't leave hungry. Sides include deep fried okra, baked beans, potato salad and more. All the proteins are carefully grilled and smoked on premise with the smoke from the grill magnetically drawing you in. I recently had pork chops that defied my historical view of a pork. Mama's Kitchen pork chops are called Neanderthal and they are just that. Big. Juicy. Tender to gently cut with a fork. Grilled and smoked to perfection. Like all the food here, these pork chops are the food equivalent of crack. Stop in and eat hearty!“

“Great breakfast and lunch place. Always good and fast service with great food. Wish they did supper, but I understand that would spread their staff thin. They all might be family because they sure act like they have an interest in the restaurant.Parking: Griffin downtown is notarious for parking. Good luck.“

“The only complaint I have is that the hamburger meat didn't have any seasoning, although it was good it could be better. It's a very small restaurant that recently opened. It was very clean inside and the people running the place were extremely nice. I will go back again.“

“I've lived in Griffin most of my life and I've never heard of this place until a co-worker suggested going here for lunch. It was good. They had mostly sandwiches, soups and salads. I didn't ask them what kind of soup they had. I got the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant. It came with a side for about $14. Their fryer was down so they couldn't do fries and they didn't have anymore potato salad so I just got chips. The food was very good. I wish the chicken wasn't quite so finely chopped but it had a pretty good flavor. It also had like 4 or 5 pecans on top of the chicken salad and one whole purple grape in the middle. Kind of odd to me. I guess maybe they do that in case some people don't want grapes or pecans that way they can easily pick them out. The chicken salad croissant was pretty big and they give you a generous scoop of chicken salad. The chips were really good too. The restaurant seems pretty popular because it was packed with people eating inside and getting to-go orders. They also have a display case up front with some desserts in it.“

If you have never been there before and you open the door, it looks like you are stepping into your grandparents' kitchen with a little chaos, then someone tells you to sit where you want and to look at the specials on the wall. The dishes are just home cooking and not fancy but have good flavor and prices. Their daily special are especially a great value. You should give them a try. “My Mom and I went to Bank Street today for lunch. We ordered the fried mac and cheese bite appetizers. They were cooked perfectly and were absolutely delicious. We both ordered the Cajun bowtie pasta dish and it was the perfect blend of spicy and creamy. The chicken in this dish was hard to cut and gave the appearance that it had been overcooked. However, to our delight and surprise, the chicken was cooked perfectly! Additionally, I ordered the cheesy grits. This is the only food that could have used improvement, but restaurant grits, after growing up on a Southern woman’s grits, are hardly ever worth the competition. These definitely needed more salt, cheese, and flavor, but when scooped up on the fork prior to adding a bite of the pasta, they ended up complementing the pasta perfectly!Our waitress was a delight-cheery, friendly, and prompt.“

“The to go orders are non existent by phone. They use a recorded message saying they are busy serving customers please come and dine in. Upon arrival there were 4 vehicles and at least one probably more were workers so I find this service aspect lacking. They were friendly and took order to go, however it comes off as lazy and covid is still a reality for older people and young children so to be able to get in and out with minimal contact is still important! I added chocolate chips to my waffle and it was delicious! Still great food and clean store but please reconsider your to go policy! Thanks! Another way to do it would be to add your store to DoorDash because you can make it pick up only and it will be prepaid so that’s a wonderful alternative also!“

“I love this place, ever since my first visit 4 months ago! The chicken and fish always taste delicious! Everything is cooked to order, so your food is always piping hot, which I love. They have about a dozen or so of flavored lemonades, which seem to be pretty popular. The only negative (kind of) that I would mention is sometimes they put really small, skimpy chicken wings in your order. However, I've noticed on occasion that they'll sometimes add extra to compensate for the size.“
