Sometimes, I don’t even know what those things are until I see them. One thing that I dream about and want most of the time, is the perfect sandwich. And my perfect sandwich is always made with focaccia bread, filled with prosciutto, arugula, burrata, and pesto. Unfortunately, it’s so hard to find this perfect sandwich, made the right way with the right ingredients. But I found it here at Il Bottegone!I was on a work trip, and I’m so glad that I found this place. It was one of the best panini, my day was definitely made. I ate the whole thing and wanted more! Her recommendation of the scallop appetizer was the best tasting scallops we've ever had. My husband had the chicken special and it was delicious. I had the standard spaghetti and meatballs and it was yummy. The portion was too large for us so we took the rest home. We also opted for dessert and it was also excellent. “We are always searching for new pizza places that have thin crust pizza. Thin like pizza's from the 80s. Nancy's was recommended by some locals and we gave it a try. There was only one group of customers there when we walked in and we were a bit apprehensive that it meant something about the food quality. Well, we were wrong. The servers were very friendly, and gave excellent descriptions on the pizza crust and toppings. The thin crust sausage pizza was one of the best we have had in years. The entire experience would be elite if they had amazing garlic knots. They need to take a page out of Mangia's garlic knots! “If we can add decimals, a solid 4.86/5, but they really have been maintaining their standards for years now. Suprised to see they are only rated a 4.4 on here, but their food quality is amazing compared to a lot of other restaurants in the Alpharetta location. Not to mention, they are operating in a complex that has been struggling for years to attract new businesses. If you go there, you will see a lot of empty spaces that are open for rent, don't be fooled though as this restaurant is hands down one of the best authentic local Italian restaurants that Alpharetta has to offer. A lot of people talk about Bucca Di Bepo (location near north point mall) and Sugo, but this in my opinion is way better than Bucca Di Bepo and right up there with Sugo. They no longer serve liquor or canned white claws or canned liquor beverages. I don’t drink beer or wine. I would love to have a sports bar in the neighborhood that has alcohol I want to drink. The food here is good, but I want a drink with my food.Also, the seating here is UNCOMFORTABLE! the metal barstools and metal chairs are very small and not comfortable. Please get it worked out so you can attract more business and be busier and your servers can make more money and you won’t have to close due to staffing shortages.Please bring back the old chicken fingers! The new chicken fingers I picked up today are not the same level as your old chicken fingers brand.“
