“3/29/24 I had dinner on the outdoor patio and enjoyed a delicious hamburger with friends. My wallet fell out of my pocket onto the ground and I didn't notice it was missing till I got home. I drove back and one of the staff informed me my wallet was safe at the front register. Wow! Not even the cash was missing. The honest staff at Hopdaddy have renewed my faith in humanity. Thank You“
“Love this place. Been here maybe five times since coming to ATL in 2020. Would get here more, but I'm rarely downtown on a weekday, and this place isn't open on weekends. It's mainly to-go, couple tables outside with maybe 10 parking spots (recently paved). You used to order outside, but now you can order inside. They take cards, ApplePay, Wallet etc., but there's a $10 minimum for non-cash. Any combo will get you past that threshold. I've only ever gotten the lamb gyro with fries. Someday I'll try something else, but I like that gyro too much. Meaty, fresh vegetables and a sauce that's just right (not heavy or too runny). The Halal lamb is seared with almost a crust on the outside. Fresh and healthy and not greasy--I don't like those things, and I would not come here repeatedly if that was the case.“

We waited an hour for a table of 9, which is completely understandable, they seat us in the quasi-private room and the dinner started off great. My first issue is we never got refills on any of our drinks. I ultimately had to get up and walk to the kitchen to ask for a refill. Second, the meatloaf came out for our entree and it was bland. The carrots were cold and hard and the mashed potatoes were hard and like warm. I mean everything I ordered had something wrong with it. My dusghter ordered the filet medium rare and it came out medium well. We saw our waiter 25 mins later, not sure if he was on break or what but all in all it just wasn't the best dining experience for $100 for the two of us. Not sure we will ever be back. “Allow me to set the mood! It’s Hoopz last night in Atlanta before moving back to Seattle. As such, I wanted something close to his area, good, and that I had never tied before. Naturally I end up on Yelp performing a search and Boom! I stumbled across Argosy. Though I have been in this area numerous times, I have never noticed Argosy. However, tonight was the night… I was excited as the restaurant has its own private lot. Woo Hoo! Anyone who knows the area can’t attest that parking is not the best when it comes to available spaces. Once parked, we headed inside. Argosy is humongous. I’m talking super big covered patio area in the front, when you walk through that space to get to the main area, the inside is HUGE as well. The setup has your organic local bar feel and is musically vibrant and upbeat. Upon walking in we were seated within moments. The table setup makes good use of the space as you don’t feel crowded at all. We were a party of 2 and the tables next to us were a party of 10 and we both had ample space. As I looked over the menu, this is the traditional bar food menu with the Argosy twist. This makes for a limited selection to choose from, however, there is at least one traditional favorite of each food element in the menu. Our server arrived at the table within moments, welcomed us to the venue and took our drink orders. She was very pleasant and displayed a joyous smile. After a few moments of burger vs. fries, I decided to get the Wings and Fries and babeeeeeeeeeee. These wings were amazing. The wings come in a sauce I have never had before, and now that I have had it, I want to continue having it. It’s like a Buffalo style sauce not too spicy, with an Argosy taste twist to them. As far as the French fries… Hear me clearly. The art of a Homemade fry is not something everyone can execute well. However, Argosy has discovered the ART of fry making. The fries are crunchy on the outside, however, soft and fluffy on the inside. Furthermore, the fries are lightly salted which brings out the authentic taste of the potato. To make it even better, the fries aren’t too oily or overly greasy. Though I loved my wings, the French fries stole the night!! All in all, I will be back at Argosy soon as I MUST try the burger next.“

“The Loaded Taco and Loaded Burger truck came for a small company function and it was incredible. The food was amazing -- my favorite was the shrimp tacos and onion rings. They were so easy to work with and helped create a very popular menu with the entire team. Service was exceptional as the wait was very short after you ordered.
