“Had to take my wife to the doctors in Oakwood. Stopped here for a quick lunch. The shrimp fried rice was the best I ever had. Wife had pork fried rice and said it was very good. Washed it down with a Thai iced tea. Excellent! Got to go back to doctors in three weeks, I know where I'll be eating lunch.“

“My wife and I love this restaurant. We have gone ever since they first opened and go quite often ever since. It absolutely NEVER DISAPPOINTS. The food is excellent, the service is top notch, and the overall experience is just tough to beat. Highly recommend. Their cocktail and wine menu is great and you'll have a tough time trying to keep from ordering everything off the dessert menu.“

“What a hidden gem! After getting turned away at a nearby noodle spot, we gave this place a shot, and wow, we’re so glad we did! We’ve driven by countless times, unsure because of the “burrito” sign, but this spot blew us away.
The ramen? My mother-in-law couldn’t stop raving about it. My wife devoured the pork gyoza and spring rolls, and I went all in on the tempura shrimp and California rolls, every bite was packed with flavor! Super fresh, super tasty, and way beyond what we expected.
Don’t let the sign fool you, this place is a flavor bomb waiting to be discovered. Highly recommend!“

“We loved it here so much we came back twice in a 3 day period. So many great menu options. The view on the lake is beautiful. Delicious food. Easily enjoy amazing weather with the deck/patio style seating. Really great all around.
Only complaint is we had a hard time getting drink refills. And it took a long time to be able to put an order in for our food. Waitresses just seemed to disappear for bits at a time but were good when they were around.
Definitely highly recommend the deep fried green tomatoes!!! They were a family favorite for sure. Honestly all of the food we got everyone loved. It seems you can’t go wrong here.“

“We wound up at FishTales today because the parking lot at PigTales was too small to accommodate my Brother-in-laws' RV. No big deal, they are not too far apart. Our taste buds were set on the Fishtales basket (Fried Grouper and fries) and once again, it was delicious. The portion is large enough that my wife and I split it.Our server today was Hannah and she couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. When I placed our order, I asked for extra tarter (dill) sauce and when we got our food, we had two extra sauces. I usually have to ask a 2nd time. Great attention to detail. We sat out on the patio under a tiki hut umbrella with a great view of the lake. A most enjoyable lunch! Thanks Hannah and FishTales!“

“My wife and I had lunch at Vinnys today 4/9/2025. This was our second time dinning there and we were very pleased with the food, price and the great service. Our server was Ellie and the service was prompt and friendly. The dishes were picked up the water glasses were refilled and we had a nice conversation on our trips to Europe. What more could you ask for? We will return in the very near future.“

“This is the first time I have been to a Taco Mac and glad I went. Have a large menu with lots sports bar kind of food. I had 2 different kind of wings (mild buffalo and garlic Parmesan). The best part was the service! The server we had was amazing and it was honestly the best service I have had in a long time. Enjoyed my experience and would definitely be back.“

I recently enjoyed a fantastic lunch with my son at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. The friendly host quickly seated us, and our server promptly arrived with warm, buttery croissants and took our drink order.
We started with delicious cheese curds, and our main courses were equally impressive. My son's chicken and shrimp dish was a hit, while I indulged in the renowned country-fried steak with a generous side salad and creamy mashed potatoes.
The portions were incredibly generous
– the side salad could have easily been a meal on its own!

“I just moved to Buford in July, I have stopped here a few times. I was not expecting to fall in love with this place, their food is spectacular, Today I ordered the catfish plate, I was surprised when I saw the plate because I was not expecting the amount I was given for $15. I was expecting a small piece of fish and a handful of fries, to be given a very large piece of fish and a satisfying portion of fries, it was fresh and cooked to perfection. The Waitress who served me was very friendly and nice to talk to. I will definitely be coming back here to try more of the things on their menu!!!“

“Went here for breakfast a few weeks ago. The atmosphere was pretty chill for a late morning. Ordered plate of biscuits and gravy with red hot sausage and an orange juice. The gravy was smooth and warm with the red hot giving a good amount of spice. Very curious to see what else was offered, I returned a few days later to get a burger to go as is advertised on their sign up front. The burger was surprisingly juicy and delicious. What even more surprising was learning that Mama Ruth’s has been around since 1975! With a diverse menu and friendly customer service, I can see why it has continued to thrive.“

“Yesterday I tried this place for the first time and it was soo good, I got the fried chicken tender sandwich with fries and it was perfectly seasoned, today I came back and got the Buffalo chicken wrap with pasta, the wrap was good however was barely any Buffalo sauce in it so it was like a regular wrap, if it had more buffalo sauce it would be amazing!“
