“Best fried chicken and sides in town, I go here way too often! This is my favorite location as well, everything is always clean and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. The food is always delicious and fresh. Try the rose tteokboki and soy garlic boneless! The corn salad is delicious as well. Such good comfort food 💕 and they're always playing K-pop music! 🙌🏻“

“I love the food here but the service is chaotic and it's disorganized. Has not stopped me from going there but it's frustrating to watch them scramble to try and figure out who ordered what. And then to see your food ready but the chaotic process means you'll get it in 10 minutes. But the food is great. Fix the chaotic process and I'd probably visit more.“

“Dean has literally the best diverse menu at such a reasonable price in a 10 mile radius. If you're Korean definitely check it out. Food is always fresh and whenever I call to order he always recognizes who I am which is also a very nice touch to a personable service.
I have noticed some people upset over Food taking a while. It's not a fast food restaurant. They cook it to order so dont get so uppity unless you want raw food.“

“Delicious Korean street food. We ordered Bulgogi lunch box, Tteokbbokki, Kimbap, Kimchee Fried Rice, and Bibimbap. Our family enjoyed each of these dishes.

Service was very friendly, and we received our food in about 15 minutes or so. Also, I appreciated all the affirmations and art on the wall throughout the restaurant.

“Our family has mostly visited Jang Su Jang in Duluth, so this was our first time trying the Alpharetta location. When we used to go to the Duluth Jang Su Jang nearly ten years ago, it was mainly for comforting dishes like Soondoobu, something very affordable and casual.
The Alpharetta Jang Su Jang felt quite different. It’s located inside a hotel, and the atmosphere is much more upscale. Because of that, the prices are not cheap, and the overall vibe is more polished than what we were used to. It truly felt like a different version of Jang Su Jang.
The food was very good, and the service was also excellent. Everything was well prepared, and the staff was attentive. However, as Korean visitors coming from out of state, it felt a bit distant from the Korean community, which makes it less likely for us to return regularly.
That said, it’s definitely worth visiting at least once, especially if you’re looking for a more elegant Korean dining experience in Alpharetta.“

“Have you walked into the wrong restaurant but stayed anyways because of the ambiance of the place? That's what I did. I was supposed to meet my nephew at the Chili Spot but accidentally walked in through the wrong door. I rarely walk into the wrong restaurant but glad I did because this place is so hip and modern.

Speaking of atmosphere, the spacious ness of the place, the modern decor and vibe makes dining in a relaxing experience.

It’s a small restaurant with dark decor and simple tables, but the service was friendly and attentive. We ordered wings, skewers, a seafood pancake, and a seafood clear broth stew, and really enjoyed the meal. The seafood pancake was the best, crispy without being hard and full of flavor.“

“My wife and I absolutely love CHOI’S GRILL BY CHEF JK… it’s definitely one of our faves! My mom was born in Seoul, Korea, so I grew up eating authentic Korean dishes and have a very discriminating palette. With that said, CHOI’S is totally legit Korean deliciousness. The food is always fresh and flavorful, the portions are generous, and the staff is incredibly kind with a strong spirit of servitude! Oh, and the SIDES are sooooo good. “Food is alright. Service was pretty horrible. I’ve asked couple of bowls, and most of them were not clean. I wish they could’ve double checked before they handed to customers. Server didn’t even apologize, and I personally felt they weren’t rly doing their jobs well. Honestly, it just felt like they didn’t really care about their service since they automatically get an 18% tip anyway. I did feel like even that 18% wasn’t really worth it, but since I know how hard it is for small businesses these days, I still left it.

I think my previous comment might have caused some confusion, so I’d like to clarify.
When I said the 18% tip was automatically added, I meant that these days many customers usually give around 18% by default, so some servers may feel there’s no real need to try harder or pay much attention. Since you personally took the time to read my review and genuinely care about your customers, I wanted to adjust my rating to reflect that. “I saw this place on instagram and I saved it to my list of restaurants to eat while in Duluth. I came here before the Ateez concert and was not disappointed!! Everything was so good! I got the pepperoni pizza, chicken and some beer. It was definitely 10/10. Chicken was crispy and the pizza tasted like it came out of a brick over with a great cheese pull! I’m definitely pulling back up again. Staff was also nice and helpful!!“

Over the last 25yrs, soon dubu jigae restaurants have come and gone in Atlanta but this one, a chain from Korea, is like eating a meal in Korea, splatter apron and all! The ttukbaegis make the jigae scalding hot for your entire meal…both times I left with no feeling on my tongue…if you are in the mood for some soon dubu jigae, this is your best bet in the metro Atlanta area! Give them a shot if you’re in the area, in the Assi Market center off Old Peachtree…“

“I would consider us regulars, eating here 1-2x/month. A little disappointed this go around. We ordered the toppoki, bulgogi quesadilla, and the harue kimbap. The bulgogi quesadilla was labeled as a “limited time” item and was pretty good! The fries it came with were a little undercooked and lacked that the crispy crunch. Harue kimbap = solid. The toppoki was overcooked—the rice cakes and ramen (that we paid extra for) were too chewy/soggy.“

“We used to come here many times when our kids were younger, and we recently stopped by again while our daughter was home from college. The place still has that classic Korean snack-bar vibe, we remembered. Since it was November, it felt a bit warm inside at first, but the friendly staff quickly turned on the AC for us, and we enjoyed a meal with the good temperature. The food tastes just as good as it always has, and honestly, it holds up really well compared to other franchise-style Korean snack spots. This item at Daebal House was a massive tower of amazing flavor! The menu has a fairly small but simple listing of typical Korean dishes from soup to meats ——while I was there 99% of the patrons are eating this dish. This place is open after 5pm and is similar to a late night bar with fine dining food… Highly recommend if you are in the area and want authentic quality tasting korean food and experience with friends.
