“Invited 2 out of town guests to J. Alexander’s, Peachtree Pkwy, yesterday! They loved the fried calamari (perfectly tender inside and crisp outside)! Our entrées (main courses, really, bcoz Entrée is French for appetizer) consisted of the Salmon (cooked perfectly) & Burger (asked for Medium
came out well done) for our friends, the Cod Fish Taco for my wife & the Prime Rib French Dip for me! Everyone loved their MC!! My French Dip was the Best I ever had - piled high, pink roasted tender beef with the Jus & Horseradish. The fries were absolutely great! My wife loved her Fish Taco and Rice ‘n Beans side, however they could have used less (1/2 less) cole slaw & more Cod (1/2 more) in the Tacos.
Our server, Jacob was exceptional, and right on top of our every necessities. Professional & knowledgeable for sure!! Thanks Jacob!
One small detail though… the silverware needs polishing before being given to us in a napkin roll up - an easy task the servers should easily administer to.“

“Went there to watch a Brewers playoff game not thinking about it being college football Saturday in Georgia. They were kind enough to put the game on a tv in front of me. I had the nachos and a few cocktails. The bartender was great. Very attentive and friendly. Really enjoyed a few hours there and will be back next time I’m in Norcross“

“I was on a business/personal trip and just stumbled upon it as a quiet classy restaurant. I was very pleased with the flavorful salad offering. Then I was amazed by the best pork chop dinner I've ever tasted. The lemon flavoring was just perfect! “We had a staff dinner and experienced VV’s cooking class. Rina Moreno was our chef providing guidance on the meal’s preparation and techniques to use in the kitchen. A gun experience, wonderful meal and Ms Moreno was a delightful host and guide. Recommend and we will return.“

“I can’t say enough about my experience at Cattle Shed! From the moment I walked in, the service was top-notch. Every server was attentive and knowledgeable, but the real standout was Manager Alexis. She came by my table multiple times and I noticed her doing the same throughout the restaurant—checking on guests, running food, greeting people, recommending menu items, and making sure everyone’s expectations were exceeded. The steak was absolutely amazing—cooked perfectly—and the entire restaurant, including the restrooms, was spotless. The staff really know the menu inside and out. They offered thoughtful suggestions for wine, appetizers, drinks, and dessert pairings, which made the whole dining experience feel elevated. I’ll definitely be back! I even joked with Alexis that I could eat two steaks if I wasn’t on diet medication (and sadly had to pass on dessert). She’ll probably remember me for that! “The quality of the food is top notch. The facility has a cool vibe to it with the high ceilings, open kitchen, and large bar. Iirc, the wine racks are a throwback to the original FSE. Our waitress Nei (sp?) really knew the menu and made great recommendations on pairings of food. The seating area is rather open and can be noisy. The portions are appropriate for your meal, and there were no leftovers at our table. Prices are on par with other restaurants of this caliber. Plenty of free parking right behind the restaurant. We will be back. 💯“
