“Amazing hidden gem in Pooler, GA. Authentic dim sum is hard to find in this area, and Etang Bistro truly delivers. The cucumber salad was packed with garlic and absolutely delicious. The chicken feet were excellent, the scallion pancake was perfectly crisp, and the hot oil wontons were outstanding.

The attention to detail really shows in every dish. Finished the meal with the cold noodles — amazing and refreshing. Highly recommend this spot. Friendly prices and great food.”

“This was the first alley I visited when I traveled to Savannah to perform a house search. I visited quite frequently while living there and found this alley to be better than some of the others in the area. Great customer service and friendly bartenders. “Have rarely had issues with the food but most of the time the employees are rude, I asked for grilled kiddie finger which is something that’s not on the menu as an item but can make it and manager has approved it every time I go there. The issue I run into is I ask for this item for my daughter and they tell me right away it can’t be made then I ask them to ask the manager and they give me an attitude as they raise their voice. I try to keep calm but they just push it too much. Wish it could be put on the menu so I don’t run everytime into the same issue since go to this place pretty regularly”

“One of my first times going to a real Hibachi place, we had a small wait but not too bad. Our server was very funny and he easily cooked several different meat levels at the same time. I have never tasted as good Hibachi like that before.”

“For five years our trivia team has been attending Monday night General Knowledge trivia at World of Beer, Pooler. It is our way to kick off the work week, a place to enjoy our time together and to participate in a battle of wits with other teams. For five years, our team has consisted of two to seven members, based on who is able to come on Monday nights. Over these five years, we’ve split each gift card winning equally. We use it like a coupon when it comes time to cash out. We’ve never had a major issue with cashing out our equal winnings until last night (8/25/25). With no notifcation, the manager on duty told our server we can no longer break up our winnings per each gift card. He never explained why (his playground, his rules I guess). The manager should have come to our table himself to explain why not send our server to do his job. While our server was talking to us, the manager stole/confiscated two of our gift cards which still had credits on them (roughly $35 all together). We win pretty frequently and as of today, we have $136 in gift card winnings still to be used. Now we’re being told we cannot. How else is a team of several people supposed to spend their winnings? In one lump sum? That’s not possible. The way this whole situation was handled was highly unprofessional and deceitful. It’s a shame too. We really enjoyed our years with PubStar Trivia. Thanks for the memories….with the exception of last night.”

“Wasn't expecting much, but wow, the food was great and such a great value. All you can eat fish, meat of every type, salad bar, soups and deserts. For this price, don't expect strip steaks, but everything they did have was well cooked and flavorful. All for around $15 per person, what a value! We were traveling having left North Carolina headed back to Florida when we found this place. It will now be our regular stop when passing through. Bey (our waitress) was so friendly and sweet. She gave excellent service! The club sandwich is stacked high with fresh ingredients and served on perfectly toasted bread. Every bite is the perfect combo of crunch, flavor, and satisfaction. The honey apple cobbler and the sweet potato pecan cobbler are knock out great, the kind of desserts that make you stop talking mid sentence just to enjoy the next bite. Portions are generous, everything comes out warm and gooey, and the staff is kind and patient while you stand there pretending you are not going to add extra toppings. It is an easy, happy little stop after shopping or a movie and even for a non peach person, this place is absolutely worth the visit.😍”

“This place has had and still has serious management issues. Fran should be fired in my opinion. One package of three package of salmon that was $5.00 off Instant Savings would not ring up. She came over and typed it in. A questioned her about the savings...wrong thing to ask!!! Well it didn't come off, so I called her back. She then removed one of the other three and was going to take off $5.00. I explained to her that it already would take off $5.00. Again how dare I question the Almighty Fran because she knew what she was doing. I questioned her again and she just got snappy. “Seafood here is much better than where I live. I actually have to travel 45 minutes just to come to Pooler for decent seafood. I will say the jumbo shrimp is questionable as far as size. The jumbo shrimps look nothing of jumbo. They look like regular sized shrimp. So that seems rather suspicious. Other than that, the seafood there is pretty good.”

“Went specifically to try their Korean Fried Chicken , they do not have it as of the day of this post. Had to pivot and tried the 10 piece Wing Combo with shrimp fried rice. This fed 2 adults and we still have 75% of the rice to take home as leftovers. Flavors we did honey BBQ and hot teriyaki on the boneless wings, which are chunks of chicken breast, not your typical boneless wing but so much more meat vs breading. Very very tasty.

Fried rice was great, not greasy, fresh veggies. Very excited for the leftovers and will probably have enough for 2 more meals for myself with the leftovers. Great price for the amount of food we got.

We will be back for this Korean Fried Chicken, but based on what we had tonight I would love to try more of their wing flavors”
