Fish Chick is a wonderful take-out only restaurant widely considered the best fish spot in the area. The food is absolutely delicious, outstanding in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation. Everything is prepared fresh and hot when ordered, cooked perfectly and flavored very well. Specific praise is given to the flounder platter, catfish, Cajun fries, hush puppies, okra, and potato salad, with the hush puppies called an obsession. The portions are so big they provide whole additional meals of leftovers that reheat well.
The customer service is phenomenal, exceptional, friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The owner is a delight, described as so warm, friendly, and personable, with spot-on suggestions. The store is clean and filled with a pleasant, inviting aroma, with a waiting area that is a whole vibe and convenient parking. While the food is made to order, online pickup is available. The obvious care and love put into the food makes it a fantastic, filling guilty pleasure and a wonderful establishment worth a drive.
