“We tried The Local on 17 because a reviewer said the steaks were better than Charlie’s in Orlando. Charlie’s is the holy grail of steaks in our area, so we had to visit The Local to compare. That reviewer was right! I had the 5oz filet, medium rare, perfectly prepared and melt in your mouth tender. My husband had a daily special filet which came topped with scallops and shrimp, and a bearnaise to die for. We shared the cheesecake with fruit; the perfect ending to a perfect meal. We will definitely stop at The Local on 17 on our next trip north!“
