“The food surpassed my expectations, easily claiming the title of the best BBQ I've ever tasted. I've discovered a new favorite spot, thanks to the remarkable flavors they deliver. However, my experience was marred by a couple of minor hiccups. When I asked the cashier if they had Diet Coke, she shrugged her shoulders and casually gestured towards the self-serve fountain machine, stating, "We have only what's over there." This lack of engagement was a bit off-putting. Additionally, inquiring about an appetizer led to some confusion as the staff seemed unsure about its preparation or ingredients. While it's possible they were a new hire, these instances slightly altered the overall atmosphere. Despite these hiccups, the exceptional food quality makes me inclined to return, hoping for a smoother and more informed customer interaction next time.”

“My family and I tried Monarcas for the first time just recently for my birthday celebration. We had a wonderful time, the atmosphere and food were wonderful and the service was one of the best. I'm so glad we found this little gem so close to home. I believe it's now our new favorite place to eat out!!”

“I've been here twice. The first time I got the chicken salad on sourdough, I smashed it and asked for another it was so darn good.The next time I just ordered 2 and ate them in my truck, to hide my shame. Can't wait to go back again.”

“Went for Sunday lunch and got their bonus meat and two veggie special. It was strips of prime rib fixed like a pot roast. Not realizing this I ordered additional mashed potatoes as a side. It was pretty good but the meat was a bit fatty. Probably wouldn't order it again. Overall the food and service was good but be prepared because you are going to have to wait for a table.Parking: Gravel parking lot makes it difficult for older customers with walkers or in wheelchairs.”

“Great food, great service!My wife grew up in this town, knows most of the workers. We always get great service.We come here for the philly and fried green tomatoes. Philly is always cheesy and filled with onions and peppers, bread is always toasted. Tried the spicy fries, and they were very good. Crispy and seasoned.Kenzie is a great waitress. She served us this visit. Very friendly, helpful, and overall great spirit.10/10 would recommend”

“Food was delicious! I was undecided as to whether I wanted a mint shake or jamocha shake and the girl gave me a sample of the mint shake which helped me to decide. That's definitely going above and beyond in delivering excellent customer service! Everything I ordered was fresh and hot and all of my sauces were in the bag. I didn't have to ask for anything, these days that's rare! ?? Will be back for sure.”

“I had the country fried steak and gravy. It was wonderful. Supplied by Sysco like most other restaurants, but it was fresh & hot, and the potato salad actually passed southern standards with some mustard in it as opposed to a purely mayonnaise base. I'd never had baked beans that had navy beans (pork & beans), kidney beans, and ground beef in them, but they were great, too.Kid-friendliness: There were two or three children who seemed to be very happy dining in, seated in another booth near our table.”
