I carry food from Shane's to an elderly couple when it's requested. I've done several online orders for a specific pick-up time. I don't think they even check for online orders as I have always had to wait (and am then late to where I'm supposed to be) while they find and make the order. I decided to call-in and see if there was any difference. There was not. I still had to wait and was again late to my client. Shane's pulled pork was ok. The bbq sauce tasted good, but the meat was like mushy. I didn't care for the texture. The fries were really hot & the slaw was delicious. They have good sweet tea also. The atmosphere was very clean.

The service and food were good, but I didn't like the sauce, too sweet for my taste. I wish they had told me that they had a variety of sauces and let me select one. I didn't know that they had a North Carolina sauce (my favorite) until after they had already given me my takeout order. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although, I shouldn't have had to ask for napkins when I ordered a BBQ sandwich.
