Taco Bell in Rome

“Of the 2 locations in city limits this is the 1 I'd suggest you go to. But I placed a mobile order and waited 10 minutes before I got there. Had to add stuff to my order. Went inside and got the extra stuff but waited over 20 minutes for my mobile order. Idk what happened, but the service has dipped dramatically over the past few months“

“It was about 2am when they got my order, and usually I don't expect much when I order or get food this late, but everything came correct and even had the wrappers hand marked for which had which modification. I know it's a little thing, but food places at night often give about half this effort. It's appreciated 👍“

“PSA: My five stars are only for the actual humans working there. They were FANTASTIC AND DESERVE A RAISE.

Whoever decided to use AI instead of an actual person to take orders, please find God and ask for His forgiveness, because I'm not giving it to you. The AI took forever to respond when I went to order and kept trying to upsell me on products I did not request and seemingly did not want to take no for an answer. Its confirmation process took a while too, a regular human would've been much more efficient and lessened my drive thru time. I noticed the other restaurants near this Taco Bell (who presumably don't use AI) managed their drive thrus much faster for a busy Friday night.

I am not discouraging people from this Taco Bell, again the actual workers were great and were keeping up with the work without issues. The drive thru that I was stuck in for over 20 (!) minutes seemed to be the fault of this slow and inefficient use of AI.

Please hire actual humans and pay them a living wage.“
