“This was our first experience dining at Hugo's and they did not disappoint. We started with the mixed oysters which were absolutely delicious. Our main dishes were the crab stuffed shrimp and red fish on the shell. Both were well seasoned and very tasty. We ended our meal with beignets and Gelato. Our server was very attentive and helpful. Though pricey, it was definitely worth it. We'll definitely be back.“

“Jason and I just had probably one of the best restaurant experiences and food I’ve ever had! We started with goats cheese appetizer, followed by a delicious Caesars salad. I ordered a center cut filet with scallops as my main course. Jason had the New York strip. We shared broccoli and fingerling potatoes as sides. The most amazing part was the bone marrow butter and foie gras butter complementing the steaks. To top it all off we brought home candied pecan bread pudding with Jim Beam sauce. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was so quaint. I truly had an amazing experience!“

“Pretty decor, plenty of seating, and led signs to take pictures with! My favorite dish is the pollo empanizado. Always cooked to perfection crispy and juicy on the inside. Top two drinks would be the hibiscus and tamarindo margarita. Not to mention the ceviche to start 10/10 so fresh perfect for a hot summer day.“

“We’ve stopped going to ‘steakhouses’ as prices have gone crazy in the last few years, and typically they don’t deliver anything better than I cook at home using a decent steak from one of the better grocery stores.\n\nStoney River provided us with a very enjoyable dining experience. The steak quality was very good, my ribeye perfect, and just one star deducted as my wife’s medium filet was delivered rare, but after being fired for a couple of minutes more, it was also perfect.\n\nService was a delight from our server, and when my wife’s steak was fired more, management made sure to supply fresh sides, without bring asked.\n\nWhilst I still think it’s crazy to pay nearly $200 (inc.gratuity) for 2 glasses of wine, 2 steaks, 1 salad, 1 potato side & 1 vegetable side, I have to say Stoney River delivered something that was much better than other $200 steak dinners we’ve had previously.\n\nWe will definitely be back when we want someone else to cook our steaks 😁“
