Love how it's different from what I was expecting, the mixture of all the sauces was such a great blend and their own twist works. Our taste buds were set on the Fishtales basket (Fried Grouper and fries) and once again, it was delicious. The portion is large enough that my wife and I split it.Our server today was Hannah and she couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. When I placed our order, I asked for extra tarter (dill) sauce and when we got our food, we had two extra sauces. I usually have to ask a 2nd time. Great attention to detail. My wife spicy pork with vegetables and seafood tofu soup. It was okay. The pork was a bit fatty, and the soup was over salty. The service was really good, and we will definitely be back to try the bbq.“

I ordered grilled seafood with grilled cactus and cheese. I loved grilled octopus! Did I tell you spicy? Yes, but tasty at the same time. I usually can handle some spicy food, but this food was the next level. I wish I had a gallon of milk next to me. They had a live music and plenty of drinks. My waiter was so nice and attentive.“

The waitress took my order incorrectly and that was an inconvenience, but the manager Enmanuel was extremely professional and attentive, fixed the problem immediately and brought a free dish while the main course arrived. Enmanuel is the example that all the people who work in this industry should follow.“

“I went to this Captain D's twice this past week while Dad was in the hospital. My mom kept asking for shrimp. Monday, I got a 10 pc shrimp and a grilled fish and shrimp meal. It was good, but I felt like the meal was a little pricey at $13. Call me old fashioned (or just cheap,) but I'm struggling with paying over $10 for a fast food meal for 1. Mom liked the shrimp. On Friday, she asked for Captain D's shrimp by name, but when I got to the store, I saw that I could get 5 shrimp and 5 lobster bites for the same price as 10 shrimp. She LOVED the lobster bites! It'd be nice if she could get 10 lobster bites.“

Well she didn’t tell the sever so when he asked me about dessert I said yeah of course,and he charged me for it. The place feels depressing when you walk in. Poor lighting, feels cluttered and unclean (though there was no evidence of that). Part of it is the store configuration; because the cash register is at the door, only two people can stand in line to give their order before spilling into the parking lot or dining room.

Go for takeout and you will be delighted.“

“Had been eating at this place since 2017. The food here never disappointed me. Loved the fries, it’s quite special with the bacon added. I didn’t have any expectations on the raw oyster first, so it’s like a surprise when I was eating it. It’s quite fresh and big. Buffalo wings are the best ones I’ve ever had. Skip to describe the crawfish, loved it of course.

The service was okay, we did waited a little bit before the host took us to the table. (They might be a little bit understaffed in my opinion.) But they are timely in serving the food.

I like them providing wet wipes after you finished the meal so that you can clean your hands at your table not running to the restaurant.

The price was quite nice compared to a regular meal you would pay nowadays. We (2 people) ended up spending $70 after taxes and tips. With the amount of food we ate, we felt it’s a great deal.“

Their wings and fried rice combo is also a big hit among us. If you want some alcoholic drinks, I recommend the lychee soju ! You can share it with friends & it tastes soo good. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. It's also a plus that they're opened late, since everything seems to closed at 9 or 10. It's a small nice restaurant by a gas station but don’t get discouraged cause their large menu and food will have you coming back.“
