They were delicious and filling. We ordered dinner and had to take it home, we were so stuffed. The manager Deja and hostess Desiree were exceptional. “We had a large party in the Tuxedo room this week. Our server, Brittany, was fabulous. She was efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was exceptional. The steaks were so flavorful and the side dishes were wonderful. Desserts were also amazing, specifically the creme brulee. The overall ambiance combined with seasonal pop-up decor topped the night off for our group. At any rate, fresh outta church May 17th, my wonderful, beautiful, brave, admirable, courageous, superlative ad infinitum wife and I decided this was our lunch destination.

Atmosphere, as in all of their locations, was spectacular. Vintage, without being anachronistic. Breathable, cozy, and intimate without being claustrophobic.

My exceedingly better half enjoyed triple seafood (nicely popping shrimp, rich scallops, and clams in a pink Rosetta sauce) and i had sausage pamigiano. Both were excellent with a good portion ending up in a takeaway box because the rolls and salad for which they are renowned had already destroyed our appetites, in the best way.

Never been disappointed by a trip to provinos, with or without the apostrophe.“

“Outstanding Food and Overall Experience! - Reservation for 8 to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday (4:30 on a Friday). We almost changed our mind, because we learned my oldest daughter and her hubby had a bad experience at this restaurant in 2021. So glad we gave it another chance. Restaurant is under new management, and it shows! From the greeters at the door with smiles making a first impression, to a personable, attentive server (LeLe), excellent food and engagement by the manager being visible and interacting with guests - it was well worth our time. Total enjoyment! Our group had the snapper, salmon, shrimp & grits, catfish and one vegetarian who made a meal from the sides. Food was beautifully plated and presented and everything was hot & fresh, well seasoned and tasted great. Generous portions too. We also had the bourbon glazed brussels, skillet cornbread and the sticky ribs as appetizers. HIGHLY recommend the brussels and the ribs!! It was the first day testing the ribs, so you may have to ask for them, if they're not on the menu yet. Appreciated the free birthday dessert! If you had a previous bad experience over the last couple of years, you may want to try again. The new manager has the right attitude and a good vision for setting a new standard for The Parkside District. Keep it up! We will definitely visit again. We are glad to recommend the restaurant!“

That said, the wings were packed with flavor, the fried rice was delicious and perfectly cooked, and the staff, including the owner, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The service was excellent, and the food was hot and fresh when it came out.

I ordered the 8-piece lemon pepper wings with house fried rice and a drink for $18. It’s a bit pricey, but given the current times, it’s understandable.“
