“I have been here several times and I love it as a girls night and date night dinner. It’s always busy so we needed to make reservations every time. I love pork chop, gnocchi, salmon salad, scallops, plat bread pizza. The portions are not enough to me and my friends lol so we needed to order plates more. Most menu are supposed to be on the healthier and I agree with them. Always love this place and was a great dinner.“

“Me and my wife decided to go out for our 3rd anniversary. Quinn was a great server who was always making sure we were happy ! Then another server named Denzel came and brought us dessert with a smile on his face. :) Then to finish the night manager Lee seen us out making sure we enjoyed our night to the fullest. “Great atmosphere and service. Staff is prompt and attentive. They provide bibs and gloves when eating so you don't get anything on you. They also provide sanitizing wipes for after your meal so you can clean your hands off. Overall good selection of combos and the ability to create your own combo as well“

“We ate about 2pm. I had a grouper fingers basket and it was fresh and delicious. The fries had a light seasoning and were excellent as well. A couple in our group had fried shrimp. They were lightly battered and looked good. In fact, one of the guys said they were so good that he refused to try anything new.Our waitress was very pleasant and competent.Now the big question. Will I eat at Costal again? The answer is definitely. Can’t wait to take my wife.“

“I have mixed reviews. Here’s why: The Oar Restaurant itself at Lake Lanier was not the problem, because I do NOT feel like we were treated any differently nor faced any discrimination. As a military wife, I have traveled across countries and I am no stranger to communication and different cultures. Why? Because I see the whole person first and not their skin color. Anyhow, I will not ever be returning to Lake Lanier after research & being educated about how this Lake evolved. I am embarrassed to say this after the fact. I went and I saw. I brought an uplifting spirit, because I was oblivious. But now -I am left with a heavy heart and a grieving spirit for everyone.“

Lynn, the hostess is very professional and always has a table ready for us.Vaughn, our server knows what we drink and has it ready when we arrive. He also knows what we want to eat.Akili, in the bar mixes a great drink.We have gotten to know all managers and they are great.Our meal is always excellent.“

“Everyone working here was very nice. The service was great.If your goal is to repel a vampire for a week, a meal here will do it for ya. Rolls and salad came with dinner. The rolls come out with massive chunks of Garlic on them, MASSIVE-see pic. I don't like garlic so I didn't eat the rolls. The salad is good, the dressing is bland but the salad has chick peas, beets, and lots of other good veggies. Our dinner portions were huge. Attached is a pic of the pasta sampler entree with meat sauce. Both our dishes also had a lot of garlic in the sauce. I feel like people use garlic to mask bad flavor or no flavor. I wish they'd use less garlic. I'll try another place next time I'm in the mood for Italian.“

“A very clean restaurant for this level of food service! The wait staff were very attentive and friendly. The Carne Asada burrito was excellent as always but seemed a little smaller in portion size however just as happy with it. Too bad that had no more flan. Maybe another day!“
