“I Attended the grand opening of Stäge Dunwoody this Friday, May 15th, and the entire evening felt thoughtfully orchestrated from start to finish. From the ownership team to manager Gorman and my waitress Tory, the hospitality was genuine, polished, and effortless, the kind of service that elevates a dinner into an experience. Tory guided the night perfectly with recommendations that never missed: cocktails layered with flavor, standout small plates, and upgrades like freshly grated wasabi paired with my sashimi and sushi platter that completely changed the experience. Every detail felt intentional. The food itself was exceptional. Chef Chuck delivered dishes that were rich, balanced, and memorable without ever feeling overworked. The roasted duck lasagna with white truffle béchamel was easily one of the most unique dishes I’ve had this year, deeply savory, velvety, and indulgent in all the right ways. Each bite layered tender duck, delicate pasta, and earthy truffle into something that felt both comforting and elevated. For sushi lovers, the sashimi and sushi platter crafted by Chef Vin is a must. The cuts were pristine, buttery, and beautifully presented, with flavors so clean they practically melted away on the palate. Paired with the fresh wasabi, the experience became even more vibrant and aromatic. Beyond the food, the atmosphere tied everything together seamlessly. The music set the tone without overpowering the room, the venue carried an upscale but welcoming energy, and every moving part of the evening flowed naturally. Stäge Dunwoody opened its doors with confidence, precision, and warmth. If this grand opening was any indication of what’s ahead, Dunwoody’s dining scene just gained a serious standout. came out well done) for our friends, the Cod Fish Taco for my wife & the Prime Rib French Dip for me! Everyone loved their MC!! My French Dip was the Best I ever had - piled high, pink roasted tender beef with the Jus & Horseradish. The fries were absolutely great! My wife loved her Fish Taco and Rice ‘n Beans side, however they could have used less (1/2 less) cole slaw & more Cod (1/2 more) in the Tacos.
Our server, Jacob was exceptional, and right on top of our every necessities. Professional & knowledgeable for sure!! Thanks Jacob!
One small detail though… the silverware needs polishing before being given to us in a napkin roll up - an easy task the servers should easily administer to.“

“We went for a farewell event with my coworkers It took us forever to get our food. A few of us ordered soups and salads and everything came out at one time. The food was not hot. The restaurant was not crowded and it was 7 of us. It took us almost an hour and a half to get food and for our checks to come. This is not acceptable service. We will not be back. We have been here before and we understand that it takes time, but this was horrible service from the beginning to the end.“

“We were pleasantly surprised at how well we enjoyed our dinner here. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Our main sever, Angela, was so attentive and friendly. We never had to ask for a thing as we were taken care of every step of the way. We enjoyed the calamari, filets, lobster tail, and bananas foster dessert. “I just visited Oceans And Acre at Halcyon, Alpharetta, GA today, for brunch and was amazed by the service and quality of food. The manager on duty was phenomenal! I wanted a quick bite before a business meeting, and he offered several options that really hit the spot, and was tailored to my personal taste palette. Following his lead the bar tender then crafted a well deserved concoction that perfectly complimented my meal. “I don't know why it took me so long to get to this place, but it is fantastic. Has a warm ambience inside and a nice outdoor deck. Parmesan crusted flounder is excellent, a true oyster bar with fresh shrimp, several oyster offerings, varied menu with options for those who do not eat seafood. The outdoor deck can get just a little bit loud, but not intolerable. Valet parking. Staff are accommodating and very service centric. A great find!“

“Great food and be ready cause this place is not your typical Mexican restaurants. They didn’t even serve chips and salsa but it’s own appetizer which was a nice surprise. Be aware, it’s very spicy. I ordered grilled seafood with grilled cactus and cheese. I loved grilled octopus! Did I tell you spicy? Yes, but tasty at the same time. I usually can handle some spicy food, but this food was the next level. I wish I had a gallon of milk next to me. They had a live music and plenty of drinks. My waiter was so nice and attentive.“

“I liked the atmosphere of the place. Every table has a place to have bbq if you want. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the sirloin and tonkasu. It was awesome. My wife spicy pork with vegetables and seafood tofu soup. It was okay. The pork was a bit fatty, and the soup was over salty. The service was really good, and we will definitely be back to try the bbq.“

The impeccable/kind service, the quality of the food, and the inventiveness of the dishes (the salts/sauces used) blew my mind. I’ve had omakase in a hole in the wall in Kyoto that this truly rivaled. They are doing something so special here and I can’t WAIT to go back!

“I went to Happy Valley for dim sum and it was excellent. You can immediately tell the food is not from a central kitchen — it tastes freshly made and very traditional. It’s rare to find dim sum like this anymore. I’ve tried many Chinese restaurants in Atlanta, and this one honestly has the best dim sum flavor I’ve had. The dishes taste authentic and homemade.
