“I Attended the grand opening of Stäge Dunwoody this Friday, May 15th, and the entire evening felt thoughtfully orchestrated from start to finish. From the ownership team to manager Gorman and my waitress Tory, the hospitality was genuine, polished, and effortless, the kind of service that elevates a dinner into an experience. Tory guided the night perfectly with recommendations that never missed: cocktails layered with flavor, standout small plates, and upgrades like freshly grated wasabi paired with my sashimi and sushi platter that completely changed the experience. Every detail felt intentional. The food itself was exceptional. Chef Chuck delivered dishes that were rich, balanced, and memorable without ever feeling overworked. The roasted duck lasagna with white truffle béchamel was easily one of the most unique dishes I’ve had this year, deeply savory, velvety, and indulgent in all the right ways. Each bite layered tender duck, delicate pasta, and earthy truffle into something that felt both comforting and elevated. For sushi lovers, the sashimi and sushi platter crafted by Chef Vin is a must. The cuts were pristine, buttery, and beautifully presented, with flavors so clean they practically melted away on the palate. Paired with the fresh wasabi, the experience became even more vibrant and aromatic. Beyond the food, the atmosphere tied everything together seamlessly. The music set the tone without overpowering the room, the venue carried an upscale but welcoming energy, and every moving part of the evening flowed naturally. “Had a wonderful experience! The service was excellent from start to finish. Our server, Alix, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Jose, the manager, also stopped by our table to check on us, and he was just as warm and welcoming. The food was fantastic! The steak tacos and garlic Parmesan fries were absolutely delicious, and the Summer Citrus Salmon & Shrimp was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. “Great food and be ready cause this place is not your typical Mexican restaurants. They didn’t even serve chips and salsa but it’s own appetizer which was a nice surprise. Be aware, it’s very spicy. I ordered grilled seafood with grilled cactus and cheese. I loved grilled octopus! Did I tell you spicy? Yes, but tasty at the same time. I usually can handle some spicy food, but this food was the next level. I wish I had a gallon of milk next to me. They had a live music and plenty of drinks. My waiter was so nice and attentive.“

“I liked the atmosphere of the place. Every table has a place to have bbq if you want. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the sirloin and tonkasu. It was awesome. My wife spicy pork with vegetables and seafood tofu soup. It was okay. The pork was a bit fatty, and the soup was over salty. The service was really good, and we will definitely be back to try the bbq.“

The fish is flown in from Japan, and it shows. More importantly, it tastes like it.

Every course felt intentional—from the pristine nigiri to the beautifully plated seasonal bites and hand rolls. The quality of the fish was immediately apparent: rich, clean, buttery, and incredibly fresh. Several pieces were among the best I’ve had anywhere, not just in Georgia but New York as well.

What made this experience even more special was sharing it with my wife. Before NoriFish, sushi was never really her thing. She would go with me because she knew I enjoyed it, but it was never something she actively craved. Since our meal, she hasn’t stopped talking about it and keeps asking when we’re going back. That alone says more than any review I could write.

As someone who hopes to take my wife to Japan one day, seeing her genuinely fall in love with this style of dining made me incredibly happy. NoriFish didn’t just serve us an amazing meal—it opened the door to an experience I can’t wait to share with her again in the future.

The service was polished, the pacing was perfect, and every course felt like it belonged in a much larger food city than Atlanta. You can tell there is real care behind every detail.

It’s rare to find dim sum like this anymore. I’ve tried many Chinese restaurants in Atlanta, and this one honestly has the best dim sum flavor I’ve had. The dishes taste authentic and homemade.
