“I love this place! I happened upon it after taking my daughter to see a ballet show. We were there just as they opened and I am thankful for that. We were able to walk right in and order. By the time we left, the line was out the door. I took my parents later when they came to visit. Both times I had the southwest shrimp salad. My dad had the shrimp burger, mom had a salad is some sort and my husband had soup and a turkey sandwich. We also tried the half order of fried pickles, which were surprisingly, good and enough for several people. \n\nThe kid's options are great (grilled cheese for mine) and include a cookie from the sugar shack. If I lived closer, I would be here al the time. Staff are friendly and patient as we decided what to eat.“

“We are from out of town, visiting the nearby amphitheator. And when we saw the name of this place, we simply couldn't resist. And boy, are we glad we didn't. The atmosphere of the place, from the jump, is awesome. The staff, beyond perfect. Our waiter was perfect. Our entire experience was perfect. The grits - to cry for. The biscuits - perfect. The pancakes - delisious. Literally everything about this place was right on the money. We suggest it to anyone swinging through Alpharetta area. It will not let you down!“

I love a good farm-to-table restaurant and The Mill Kitchen and Bar delivers! On ALL levels. The food was great (I am a shrimp and grits connoisseur…these were on point!); Olivia was so funny and friendly to greet us when we arrived. David, our server was great. Knowledgeable about the food, kept our glasses filled and treated you like family or like a good neighbor. The patio was delightful (I usually run to the shade in this Atlanta heat) and the location is near Historic Roswell and the Mill district. Come try the Mill Kitchen and Grill for your next destination restaurant. You won’t be disappointed!“

But what truly sets this location apart is Fernando. Whether he’s at the cashier or working in the back, he’s always there with a smile and an incredibly polite attitude. He genuinely goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. Need something? Fernando’s already on it. “I stayed in the motel in the peach tree corners looking for something close so I wouldn’t have to deal with the Atlanta traffic since I was from down south with little to no traffic so I found this online 2 minutes walking distance from motel, the brisket platter was off the chain, would recommend to anyone , and the two servers that helped me, bartender and waitress was the best that I have encountered in a very long time, if I could leave 10 stars I would, definitely will be going back!!!!!!!!!!“

We were offered a sample of the Barbie-Q chicken salad which helped with making a decision on what flavor to purchase! The host was so accommodating and nice! The chicken salad was so good that I bought another one called the Sassy Scotty for tomorrow’s lunch! Also, the strawberry lemonade is the best I’ve had in a looooong time! I wish I had taken a picture because there was a distinctive difference in size for each of our biscuits and chicken. The girls hat for me to take pics of our food but I wish I had as it demonstrates a lack of some consistency in the kitchen. They were still good and tasted as expected. My niece enjoyed her breakfast bowl as well. The toffee latte is far too sweet. I ended up having to put some black coffee in it to make it less so.“

The only potential negative here was that the cornbread was sweeter than most cookies. Not bad, just want's expecting anything that sweet. Again, it tasted great... just wasn't expecting that taste with the vegetables and chicken. I kept it for later in the evening as a dessert. Had them do half sweet and half unsweet tea.

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.5 / 5 I had a wonderful stay at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta. Overall, this is a great and surprisingly romantic hotel. Room service was quick and the food came out hot, and the bed was super comfortable. The barista downstairs also did a great job on my caramel iced coffee. There were a couple of small things that could be improved: the TV had a few noticeable spots on the screen, and the shower door is only a half-door, which means you have to actually step into the tub to turn the water on. I would definitely come back. The vibe, comfort, and service all made the stay worth it.“
