“My daughter and I ate lunch here a little over a week ago. The food was Amazing!!! There is a reason for all of the great reviews! It’s a little pricey but you are on SSI so that’s no surprise. The food quality was worth the splurge. I had the large Mediterranean bowl with grilled chicken and my daughter had the small sea salt salad with blackened chicken. I loved my meal and so did she. We paid $46.10 for both meals and two drinks. We left full! I would definitely go back again when I get the chance.“

“Scallops were perfectly prepared and crab soup was delicious. We loved the bread pudding to finish off a great meal. Service started with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to the restaurant since it was a first visit and specialties of the house. Definitely a second visit when we return to St Simon's.“

“The selection of burgers is great! They offer many options including meat-free. I tried the Greektown burger which has lamb and beef. It was delicious! I definitely recommend this place. Come hungry because the burgers are big! My photo is the Greektown burger and tater tots.“

“Back in July, I had one of the kindest and most heartwarming experiences at this Iguanas . While I was waiting for my food, I suddenly had a low blood sugar episode. As someone with type 1 diabetes, those moments can be really scary because they can sneak up on you out of nowhere. Without hesitation, the waitress noticed what was happening and went completely out of her way to bring me something right away before my meal was ready. She didn’t just stop there she continued to check in on me the entire time I was there, making sure I felt okay and had what I needed. That small act of kindness may not seem like much to some, but to me, it meant absolutely everything. In that moment, she turned what could have been a stressful experience into one filled with comfort and genuine care. It reminded me how much of an impact simple compassion can have on someone’s day. And beyond the incredible service, the food was absolutely delicious! The combination of amazing food and people who truly care makes this place stand out. I would recommend it to anyone in a heartbeat. The world needs more people like her thoughtful, attentive, and full of kindness.“

“We stopped in for lunch today and the food was so good and the staff was so friendly. We were here on vacation and Beachcomber was an absolute favorite on the island. Definitely the nicest staff out of all the places we’ve been to also. The guy with a ninja turtle tattoo especially.“

“Best restaurant in Georgia Everything on the menu is fresh, delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. I live on Saint Simons Island and eat there almost every day. Everyone from the management to the staff are hard-working, friendly and do a fantastic job. If you give it a try it will be your favorite restaurant. You will not be disappointed and Barbara Jean and Jim Barta Will see to it that you are super satisfied.“

“We were seated in a timely matter. Our waitress was Alyssa she was the best waitress I think I've ever had in my whole life. She was very attentive to our table A+ for sure. All the food was great. Only negative was the sweet tea it was not sweet at all. Other than that everything was great.“

“Consistently one of the best sandwiches on the island. I don't know how they do it, but their bread is perfect for the sandwiches. The perfect amount of meat and sauce and they are very quick to fulfill orders
Don't sleep on the season french fries or chicken fingers. It might take a little longer because they are fried food menu items are not the most popular, but it's always hot and fresh and crisp.
Whenever my kids want Larry's ham and cheese, I usually get two because we always end up wanting more and they are great to grab out of the fridge or even for the kids to take them to school.
Pro hack: put some salt and vinegar chips on your sandwich“

“Eight of my friends gathered for lunch at Sago and we enjoyed the experience. We ordered sandwiches and salads which were delicious, presented well with generous portions but that did not give us the opportunity to see what the chef can do for dinner so we shall have to return for dinner.“

“Great night, great food, Harrison our waiter, and all his coworkers were exceptional! We had a great seat by the beautiful fireplace, and the beer is fabulous! The Blueberry was my favorite! The potatoe ship skillet, Brussels sprouts, beet hummus and veggies, stuffed pretzel , and Caesar salad were awesome! Can’t wait to go back !“
