The food truly stole the show. The onion rings were SOOO good—perfectly crispy and flavorful. And the firecracker burger? Even better! Packed with flavor and cooked to perfection, my husband says the chicken tenders are 10/10! it’s definitely a must-try.

“I reserve two tables for my birthday, and I had a total of 14 guests. The staff was excellent. They treated us really well. They gave me a private room in the back for my party. I didn’t even reserve that room. The dealers were really nice and made it fun. The waitress did an excellent job with taking our orders. She never kept us waiting and she divided the checks so easily. They even took my birthday cake to the back and cut it, and put it in several to-go boxes.
Everyone was so nice and professional. I will definitely come back for events in the future.

“I just saw the Braves take on my O’s tonight and I gotta say this was a fantastic experience. The park has a superb design with all the amenities and sights and sounds that you could ask for in a stadium while still being centered around the game. The fans are fantastic and despite us putting a hurting on the braves in this game, the fans didn’t give up. I can only imagine if chipper jones, Andrew jones, David justice, smoltz and that dominant run was in this park. Also they have a very good set up getting to the stadium and the party doesn’t end after the game as the avenues outside are really fun too. It was worth the drive from Nashville today.“

Since this is a fairly new establishment, I think the staff could do a better job of explaining the food and drinks being served, especially when customers have questions about what they’re ordering.

I have much more I could say, but my biggest disappointment was the food. Please stop using boxed or bagged shrimp. The shrimp did not taste fresh, and the grits had absolutely no flavor. A dish like shrimp and grits really needs good seasoning and quality ingredients to stand out.

Overall, the atmosphere and service were great, and this place definitely has potential. With some improvements in the kitchen and more attention to the quality and flavor of the food, it could be a really nice spot.“

“One of the food runners dropped a side salad all over my wife's feet and shoes, they apologized and cleaned it up best they could but they were open toed shoes. Our server barely acknowledged it and didn't even offer to take the small up charge of the salad off the bill despite ruining her shoes. No manager checked up on us regarding this incident (presumably because our waiter never brought it to their attention) and we did not want to cause a scene. Not sure if we want to come back, I love the great atmosphere and location but the restaurant was not even busy at 5:30 and this level of inattentiveness is disheartening.“

“Thank you Sports and Social for hosting us before the Braves game. This place is always packed for games so get there early! (like 3 hours) I like sitting at the bar and too avoid the wait, that's where we headed. The main bar under the TV's was agreat spot to watch sports. It works and is NOT like the front row of a movie theater. Our Bartender was Taylor, a pretty young lady. She made our drinks and asked if we wanted food. The drinks were tasty and made quickly. I tried the 'Baos' my friend ordered and they were delicious as well. We were there until game time, then it was a quick walk (about 50ft) across the door into the stadium. Taylor took care of us the whole time and checked on us consistently. Previously, I've had bad service there, so I don't come very often. Due to this experience I will return sooner. Please give Taylor some kudos! Great job“

Don’t sleep on the United pizza - one of the best pizzas in the city, the nachos are out of this world & the hummus is a sleeper hit (who knew hummus could be SO good?!) “It’s been a while since I have been to Black Bear Tavern. To my surprise, EVERYTHING is still amazing. Black Bear still provides a casual very laid-back type of environment. This was perfect as my friends and I had a long week and just wanted to partake in great laughs with great food… Upon walking in, the bartender welcomed us and advised us to sit where we would like. All of the empty tables were clean which made me very happy. LoL! Once seated, our waitress came over and greeted each of us with a warm smile and a pleasant welcome. With a traditional American Bar menu setup, we didn’t require too much time to figure out what we wanted. I decided on the Southwestern Egg Rolls as my App and the Swiss and Bacon Burger as my Main! Hear Me When I Say…. Wowsersssssssssssssss!! The Southwestern Egg Rolls are packed with meat and veggies. These are not the kind of egg rolls you find in your grocer's freezer. Along with being a great portion, they were fried to golden perfection. Being set at the perfect temperature makes for a super enjoyable experience. Warm and perfectly cooked insides surrounded by Golden Fried Goodness put me in a place of tastebud-pleasing bliss. I want some more just thinking about them. LoL! The Bacon and Swiss is HUGEEEEEEEEEE… Just like I needed it to be. There is nothing like a Moist, Meaty, Well Done Burger on a Friday. Furthermore, the fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickles allow for a perfect first bite. I decided to pair my burger with Tater Tots (well done) and they literally melted in my mouth. I’m talking golden fried potatoes, lightly salted, still hot as I dipped them in the room temperature ketchup! This is how you Friday Night in the Atl. LoL! Overall, I left full, pleased with the service, and to top it all off… I had food for the next day. Oh yes… I had leftovers!!! LoL!!!“

“I've been going to Mazzy's for over 5 years and the food and service has always been great. I was in a pool league, so was there almost every week for a while. They recently got new pool tables and stopped allowing smoking in the pool area which is nice. Great crowd of people and always a nice evening.“
