“Great views great service great drinks... superior food!! Sat outside, girl came right up with the menus, food came real quick!! Pulled pork.. smoky, juicy tender, not fatty... Brisket was really good, smoky juicy, tender a nice smoke ring and a nice fat cap.. Was real real good!!

“Kind of a "hole in the wall" and by any means is that a bad thing but as we know these places always have the best food. Smokey's in Garden City and in my opinion has the best ribs ever. I also buy their sauce in jars I told her she should market it I have been going here at least 10 years. Tammy the owner is one of the best humans I've ever met, I got real sick a few years ago came in one day and couldn't hardly walk she gave me a hug and offered to take me to the doctor anytime I needed a ride, she is a wonderful Christian woman.“

“It started as a small comment while driving past in the middle of the night. “BARBECUE SHACK.” There, next to a convenience store, was a small wooden building marked BBQ Being from New York, there’s barbecue around... even good barbecue; but there is only so much that can go into the “big city restaurants”. Family is in the name, and family it is. We were treated as nothing less, and the love put into the food showed it. Massive portions, mouth watering tastes; several hours later, the full smoky flavors are still dancing in my mouth. “Listen I did have a little hiccup with the online ordering but they seemed to want to make it right and we will see but all that doesn’t compare to the flavor quality portion and price. You pay more at a “chain” for lower portions quality and taste. Definitely will continue to frequent as long as I’m in the area“

“I am so glad that PaPa’s is near my home. The food is always consistent, good and enjoyable. The servers are all good and soon you become attached to them. Their BBQ is very good as is their seafood. How can this happen, but it does! I love their food! I hope the recent loss of their owner will not effect the operation of the restaurant. Please come out and try this outstanding local restaurant!“

“We had a wonderful dinner around 5 pm Thursday before it got too busy. This restaurant has a contract with the new Hyundai factory to feed the factory workers so the overall feel of the restaurant is different from your typical kbbq. I felt like I was in Korea eating a meal. The side dishes were different, (warm sauteed radish I think, sesame spinach, and fish cake) with a side of napa cabbage kimchi. We ordered the marinated beef and pork belly. We asked for lettuce for wraps. Instead they provide if you ask, a refillable lettuce onion salad with vinegar that also pairs well with the meat. We also received the steamed egg with our meal. The rice was the same kind I had in Korea- heukmi bap(Korean purple rice/black rice). For my husband and me, the amount of food was a great amount. I was very full! They were very sweet to give us a probiotic drink at the end of our meal to aid in digestion. Keep in mind that this place just opened about a month ago in October/ November 2023 and they are only open to the public for dinner. The main proteins I saw available were beef, pork, and eel. I do not recall chicken or tofu but there might have been a stew in the meals part of the menu. The meal will cost less if they cook for you but will cost more for you to cook at the table fyi. Ironic but that is how you kbbq so enjoy respectfully. Excellent hospitality. Will be back soon!“

“The server Morgan was very good. Unfortunately, our steaks were overcooked at first. We ordered medium well, but instead, the porterhouse was dry, and the ribeye was so well done that it was charred. We had to wait a long time for the correct steaks. We were at the restaurant for over 2 hours, and all I ate was bread, broccoli, and rice pilaf. Our dessert, the Stampede, was packed, and we took it to-go. The ice cream was melted by the time we got home. However, the prices, service, and taste of the food were better than Outback.“
