Had ribs with collard greens, lip smackin goodness. Only negative was the ice tea, holy moly it was way too sweet, going for my insulin pen now...Vegetarian options: The ice tea is vegan... I think
We were on the road going through Georgia, Hungry for some barbecue, so we did a search of barbecue near me. The original place we ended up at was closed, Only open a few days a week. So we kept on driving when my husband, Out of the corner of his eyes, Saw the sign for smokey's barbecue and we pulled over. It was only a small trailer on a corner lot next to a lime tree. They are pricey compared to other BBQ spots and their ribs aren’t as seasoned, although good. They also do not give as much meat as other spots. The greens are lacking flavor in my opinion but the green beans are good. The food is decent. Customer service is good. The young lady with red dreadlocks is nice and attentive. The older ladies are also nice. Atmosphere gives a nice BBQ shack feel.Parking: There’s parking but only about 5 in front of the store.
