“My daughter who’s 4, loves sushi! We always pick new places to try on our mommy and me dates, and let’s just say this place was perfect! Beautiful little restaurant. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. She had a volcano roll and I had the “Seoul-Mate” rice bowl. Both beautifully plated and tasted just as good! I highlight recommend!“

The attention to detail and kind customer service truly stood out, making us feel welcome and well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Tom Yum noodle soup, which was flavorful, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The Lychee Martini was a delightful complement—refreshing and just the right amount of sweetness. Everyone in our group raved about their meals, and the atmosphere made for a great night. “Truly excellent sushi and noodle soups. The sushi was really excellent and perfectly prepared by the sushi chef. It was very fresh and tasty. Definitely some of the very best sushi I've had and that's really saying something because we eat it fairly often. The two ramen soups that we ordered were really great, the Tonkotsu Ramen was really good, the broth was super tasty and so was the short rib ramen which had a shoyu style broth. The service was excellent, all the staff were super friendly and helpful and very attentive to the customer and any needs we had. Really excellent experience and looking forward to returning for more of this great food! Highly recommended!“

“I'm not a very good judge of sushi. That's my son's milieu. But the Tomago Don and other rice dishes that I get are the best I've encountered. This restaurant is in a small strip mall at the end of Waters Street on the Southeast side of Savannah. Its sort of hard to spot but the access is easy and there is always adequate parking close to the restaurant's door. The proprietor and staff are always friendly and attentive and all of the food prepared is excellent in appropriately priced. The place is clean and well maintained and is great for lunch or dinner.“

“Carnival is hands-down, one of the most accessible and tasty meal spots on campus. The people there are always very helpful and extremely quick to have your food ready. There is a medium sized selection of food and the chicken Katsu with white rice and the teriyaki chicken is phenomenal. The atmosphere is always jamming and there’s almost always music playing. Highly highly highly recommend you visit carnival.“

“My brother and I had lunch on 9/11. We both had the Teriyaki chicken, I had the fried rice and my brother the white rice. At the time of our order, I placed a to go order of egg rolls and a side of fried rice. I did not check my to go order and after arriving home I realized no fried rice. My sister picked up the fried rice on the way home from work. I will definitely be back“

“Some of the best sushi in the state of Georgia! It was a pleasant surprise for us to find this authentic Japanese place in the middle of Savannah's downtown. We tried a few items and all them were so-so tasty. Miso soup, Mushroom soup, Edamame, Pepper Tuna tataki, Black Angel roll, Sashimi wrap, Spicy Tuna roll with avocado, cucumber and tobiko, but the most delicious roll out of all was the Amazing Tuna roll. It was so good, after we received our food items and tasted them all, we had to order more of Amazing Tuna roll as we couldn't get enough. Service by Jaycen was outstanding. We were very happy to have found this mouthwatering sushi joint and will definitely be back when we visit Savanah again.“

“It's pretty dark and small and seemed cluttered with the sushi bar in the middle back of the room.
Ordered Sesame chicken and tempura shrimp with a large order of vegetables. All of it was very good. The fried rice could use a bit more flavor to it. Service was friendly and informative and fast!“

“The owner and his wife have kept this restaurant going for several years. The ingredients/recipes are nearly exact to Hiranos, which is where Don (owner) started his journey in the restaurant business.

His menu is much more extensive, and the food is excellent.
