C & L Jamaican Restaurant is a small family-owned Caribbean takeout spot with a friendly atmosphere. The owner is hands-on, and the food is excellent. Their dirty rice has a unique hint of nutmeg that makes it addictive. The large jerk chicken portion is generous, tender, and juicy. While the plantains were slightly undercooked, they were still good. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. Dishes like oxtail with delicious dark gravy and perfectly seasoned cabbage make it a go-to spot for Jamaican cuisine. The snapper is amazing, and the black cake is a must-try. It's definitely worth ordering from again.
