“Tropical Smoothie Cafe, 4129 Stone Mountain Hwy, is my new go‑to when the lunchtime smoothie craving hits. Thankfully, this location understands the assignment.
The smoothies are cold, fresh, perfectly blended, and actually taste like the ingredients listed on the menu (a shockingly rare achievement). Not watery, not chunky, not “melted disappointment in a cup”—just consistently great. Filling enough for lunch without putting you into a post‑smoothie coma.
Bonus points for the owner, Steve, who is an on‑site operator and clearly runs a tight, professional ship. You can feel the difference.

Easily one of the best Tropical Smoothie Cafe locations I’ve visited—and this business traveler has logged an embarrassing number of smoothie stops nationwide. Fast, reliable, and always worth the detour.

“Who knew there could be so much variety in fruit snacks?!?! This place has the real fruit snacks. It is enough to make you wonder why you even consume ice cream or any other desserts. The bowls we received looked decadent and tasted that way as well. I got the Goldie Mango and my daughter got the Nutella. Both were fulfilling. The place does get expensive though, so that may be the only thing to watch out for (i.e., 2 bowls = $30).“

“I’m not sure if this place is under new management or not but I was pleased with everything from the second I walked through the door and saw they had a perfect score! The store was clean, customer service was great and food was DELISH! I ordered the wings (lemon pepper and music city hot) and all I can say is YUMMMM!!!! Probably the best wings I’ve had since I’ve moved to Gwinnett!
