“My previous visit was around 2018. This place reminds me of a high school best friend that hasn't aged a day. It's always great to see them. “Outstanding Food and Overall Experience! - Reservation for 8 to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday (4:30 on a Friday). We almost changed our mind, because we learned my oldest daughter and her hubby had a bad experience at this restaurant in 2021. So glad we gave it another chance. Restaurant is under new management, and it shows! From the greeters at the door with smiles making a first impression, to a personable, attentive server (LeLe), excellent food and engagement by the manager being visible and interacting with guests - it was well worth our time. Total enjoyment! Our group had the snapper, salmon, shrimp & grits, catfish and one vegetarian who made a meal from the sides. Food was beautifully plated and presented and everything was hot & fresh, well seasoned and tasted great. Generous portions too. We also had the bourbon glazed brussels, skillet cornbread and the sticky ribs as appetizers. HIGHLY recommend the brussels and the ribs!! It was the first day testing the ribs, so you may have to ask for them, if they're not on the menu yet. Appreciated the free birthday dessert! If you had a previous bad experience over the last couple of years, you may want to try again. The new manager has the right attitude and a good vision for setting a new standard for The Parkside District. Keep it up! We will definitely visit again. We are glad to recommend the restaurant!“

“Our experience at Local Republic was so good we went twice during our visit to Lawrenceville. On Saturday we went for an appetizer and drinks. We sat at the bar and our service was fantastic. Her timing was above par! We had the Korean Chicken Wings, boneless wings generously tossed in gochjang sauce. They were so good, I seriously considered ordering again on Sunday just to take home. We had espresso martinis, made with vodka. They were really good and for those of us who are lactose intolerant, they do not contain dairy. We went back on Sunday for their Sunday brunch. Highly recommend! When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the lady who was our bartender on Saturday. She immediately recognized us and welcomed us back. We were seated right away and the server also recognized us, even though he had not waited on us on Saturday. He also provided exceptional service. My husband had the brisket tostada served with a runny egg on top. He really enjoyed it and I had a bite. Definitely something we would order again. I had their shrimp and grits. I am normally not one to eat grits, but these were so good, I couldn’t stop myself. They were served with a tomato sauce the was spicy, andouille sausage and roasted red peppers. It was so good! I can hardly wait to have my leftovers for breakfast tomorrow. Unfortunately, my husband devoured his Brisket Tostada, so no leftovers there. Overall, I cannot recommend Local Republic enough for their exceptional food and service. Their prices are reasonable as well. Our tab on Sunday, which included one more espresso martini, was only $51.“

“Wow! This was my first time here and I will be back. The jollof rice was perfect. Never have I ever had spinach so flavorful! It was spicy and delicious. The jerk chicken was good too, but the spinach was the star of the show, for me. The portions were big enough for me to enjoy the other half of my meal tomorrow. Also, Francis was very friendly and helpful!“

“We ordered the chopped steak, grilled salmon, and grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms. The meat is very good quality and cooked just right. Plenty of real mushrooms, onions, and gravy. The portions are good too, I’m full. I am saving the sandwich for later but it looks great!“

“We go about once a week for dinner. Tonight I had the Seafood Platter - it was huge and delicious! Everything was lightly battered, crisp, and not greasy (catfish and fried shrimp). I have enough left for 2 lunches. We also brought home a piece of Rachel’s sweet potato cake to share. Oh, my. It was wonderful!! The restaurant was full but every single staff member was welcoming and friendly. We love going there!“

“Blue rooster in Monroe did my wedding cake and it was amazing! Beautiful and tasty. Maddy was very easy to work with and did our cake exactly how we wanted it. They are a little pricy but so worth it. The cake was all eaten up at the wedding.“

“This place I go on the regular, most of the times it’s during my lunch break. Every meal comes with a free can soda before 3pm and a gentle smile from the person taking your order. This is a must try. The picture is shrimp fried rice with garlic parm wings“

“The food was delicious! The honey biscuits were simply amazing! We went here before a concert at the Gas South arena - I would highly recommend others doing the same! Easy to make reservations and can park in the parking garage with a very short walk to the entrance to the arena. That made everything super convenient with traffic plus it was super cold out! This was a perfect choice for us all around!“

“I just stumbled upon these guys the other night as I was searching for food delivery on Google. I was a little skeptical to try them because I had never heard of them before but to make a long story short, I'm glad I did. I will definitely be ordering from Food Shuttle again in the future because they have Ted's Montana Grill on their menu and that's one of my favorite restaurants. I am giving them 4 stars just because I think they could use more restaurants on their site but overall, I would say they are a very solid service and I would recommend them.“

“I love that store. Went there when I was on vacation in Atlanta. They had popcorn, nachos and slushys tasted great!!!!! Not the best food for after a mountain hike bit I personally loved it!

I craved their egg rolls every day and have never been disappointed with the chicken fried rice. Decent pricing too. Tried the wings once as well and remember them being ok.“
