“We stopped by recently on a Saturday before the library for a coffee and a snack. My little ones LOVED the little kitchen/play area. The barista was so sweet and patient with the kids while they made their selections. She even let them sample a little cup of popping bubbles for their bubble tea. My husband and I got to sit and chat over a cup of coffee while the kids entertained themselves with the play kitchen and toys. We will definitely stop by again soon.”

“Been on the road for 5 hours headed home still liked an hour and needed some food. Stopped at Waffle House and had a T-Bone and Hash Browns. The service was excellent and the food met my expectations.. It was GOOOOD, Clean, orderly, fully staffed and efficient in the their operations.

“We enjoy the Winder location for dinner and Sunday brunch and decided to try the Monroe location. We were looking forward to a nice evening out, but due to the service we won't be back to Monroe. The food was good, when we finally received it. We had a reservation and once we were seated, we waited 20 minutes for our server to come and greet us and ask for our drink order. No one came over until I went to the front counter to ask who our server was. The food arrived an hour after being seated. The atmosphere was loud and crowded. I much prefer the Winder location and we will only be going back there in the future.”

“Chicken Tenders are good, the Honey Mustard is nothing special. Nothing like Ma Magoos in Cambridge, MA but that’s a 17 hour drive.”

“Awesome, delicious, friendly service, and nearby! The best Shrimp Boil we have had in many years. The shrimp was good size, tender (not overcooked), sausage, potatoes and corn were perfect with the best seasoning ever. The juice was outstanding. The boiled egg was a surprise, must be a regional dish for Mal, but oh so good! Us southerns usually have our eggs deviled, but I have a new favorite! We support our new business in Monroe. The price is worth it when you are served food this good! Check it out!”

It’s roasted in house by Jason, and the staff are students of how to make the best cup of coffee, all the way down to the science of how flavors and acidity and milk and cream and everything works. The owners and staff are so hospitable— you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. Everything is clean and gorgeous.”
