“It's a small quaint place with fast and efficient service. Our food was brought out pretty quickly after we placed it. The server was also very attentive noticing quickly if we needed something such as providing a fork incase we needed it and having brought our chopsticks immediately. As small as this may seem some places do not remember to provide you these basic things until you ask sometimes. So yes I count this as a plus for this restaurant.

I had shrimp fried rice with miso soup, gyoza, and green tea. The fried rice with the miso soup was perfect, they complemented each other well. I would say the green tea helped clear the palate after eating the fried rice on its own. The gyoza I wouldn't say is the absolute best I've ever had but it also wasn't bad. It was a nice appetizer.

Overall I feel the service and food wasn't bad. The place was nice as it wasn't noisy or overcrowded. It was a wonderful place to have a chill lunch and enjoy a nice chat.“

“Very clean and simple layout featuring a sushi bar as you walk in and both indoor and outdoor seating.

We were greeted quickly and shown to a table immediately.

Our complete order ended up being: 2 waters, 1 cold green tea, 5 rolls, 1 Chef's Nigiri, and 2 Green Tea Ice Creams.

We were presented with miso soup to begin, along with kimchi, shredded daikon, marinated broccoli, and pickled onion.

Loved that they gave us soup spoons and chopsticks without the usual fork, knife, and spoon.

For the rolls we ordered Garlic Crunch Roll, Hide and Seek Roll, Mango Tango Roll, Volcano Roll, and Golden Tiger Roll.

Nigiri was fresh and their rice was good.

I don't know where/who they get the green tea ice cream from, but it was the perfect ending for the meal.

Have easily spent the same amount at flashier, popular sushi places and gotten lower quality, so this was a solid homerun in our book.“

“Came here to eat dinner for a friend’s birthday and everything was delicious, the Yama Roll and American Dream are amazing and I will gladly get it again!

Things I loved:
Ramen was flavorful, Sushi was immaculate, Thai tea was the perfect addition to the meal

I will say, if you are not a fan of cucumber, the Naruto roll is not for you. Otherwise, everything was great especially for the price!

Server was exceptionally friendly. If you enjoy traditional Japanese sushi, add this to your list! “Gentleman at the counter was very friendly and the sushi was good, but I ordered habachi rice- in the picture it looked like it was fried rice (with egg and veggies), but I got it and it was only rice and soy sauce. Also, I ordered four Miso soups (because my hubby just had surgery and is on a liquid only diet and it’s what he was craving), but all of the containers were only half full when I got home. We were both pretty disappointed :(

I ended up having to essentially recook the rice at home by adding egg and veggies I was expecting.

**update: after posting this review the manager reached out personally and offered to give me soup to make up for the small portion- what amazing customer service! I’m very impressed**“

“Got a chance to stop in for sushi at the Kani House in Buford. Jasmine and Angga were fantastic and really glad I stopped in.

Sushi was great, had the smoked salmon sashimi, Oceans Eleven roll and the Lobster roll and those were all excellent. The sushi chef even made a custom salad and I got an opportunity to try the ceviche (definitely try it!)“

“I'm not from here, so I wanted some good lemon pepper wings wet. When I arrived I asked the man at the counter if the lemon pepper would be wet. He said yes, but when he showed them I really didn't see a lot of sauce. When I say the wings here are delicious, it's not an understatement. Plenty of parking. We were the only guests there to begin with and another family joined when we were leaving.

The food overall was delicious. Did an all vegetarian order for a change.
