“We came here on a whim because we were in the mood for some Udon and had to go somewhere nearby and it was definently not what I was expecting! The atmosphere felt like an authetic Japanese restaraunt and felt light with the perfect lighting. The cutlery made it feel very homely with different styled plates with each dish instead of the same cut throat plates for delicious dishes. The gyozas were delicious with a crunchy texture but was soft at the same time, it wasn't like that over cooked texture! The chicken karaage threw me off a bit because the last time I had chicken karaage somewhere it had a slight heat that made it almost taste like chicken tenders but adding hot sauce to them really sent it home for me. For 2 people the price was pretty good for the experience we got. Would definently go again!“

“I come here for donkatsu (pork cutlet) once a week, and they've never steered me wrong. For the price, the cutlet is so good, the sauce is amazing. The service has also been great, but probably helped that they ended up knowing my name because I came so often LOL.“

“The sushi party platter was beautifully presented and each piece was fresh and delicious, my whole family really enjoyed it! The crab rangoon were perfectly crispy and the miso soup was a great start to the meal and still hot when it arrived home. Everything tasted amazing and was clearly made with high-quality fresh ingredients. My family has been testing out many sushi places in the area , Umami is by far the best. Highly recommend for anyone looking for fantastic sushi and appetizers! 😊“

We were wondering if it was going to be any good because they had a50% of promotion when we visited. I know fish 50% off automatic antennas that make you think the worst. We tried 4 rolls and the takoyaki. The food was great all the rolls were fresh the seafood was fresh and everything tasted great. The servers were nice and I would recommend grabbing a bite of your visiting the area or having this as a go to if you live nearby.“

Just be warned the I Love Tuna roll is spicy, so if you don't like spicy, you'll want to sit that one out. The Bulgogi and the Chicken Katsu were SO good! Not only was the food great but I was met with empathy when I was given “chopstick helpers” to continue on my meal. I was struggling but they realized it and offered up a way to help others like me, so if you are worried about using the chopsticks know that they have a solution! It’s the little things sometimes and we love them for that! ?“

“The establishment is much larger on the inside than it appears from the street. It is absolutely beautiful inside. The beef tataki here is amazing. Easily the best I’ve had. The fish on the nigiri rice i ordered was heated due to the rice being so warm. That was off-putting as that is a dish traditionally served cold. Not pleasant. The shoyu chicken ramen was about what you’d expect for a $12 soup. My server made sure I had everything I needed and constantly checked on me. All in all it was a good experience. I’ll be back.“

“Ordered the shrimp bento box with fried rice which was very fresh and excellent. Our girls ordered the chicken hibachi which they enjoyed. Hubby had chicken and medium well steak hibachi with the yum yum sauce which we thought was better than other hibachi's that we have visited. It was a drive for us but would most definitely visit again. The atmosphere was also nice and the bathroom was pretty clean.“

“I just ordered a DoorDash order, so I didn’t expect my requests to be met by the restaurant, but boy was I wrong!

I crave chicken tempura a lot since my pregnancy started. You guys went above and beyond. I requested just chicken tempura instead of the veggie / chicken tempura combo.

First time ordering here, also, so I’m not sure if this is the usual portion or if yall tossed in extra, but it’s all so good and will definitely be eaten!
