“An amazingly, chill, and awesome visit. Service was very welcoming and speedy. Our server was Sunny, and she was absolutely perfect in every way ! She was an absolute sweetheart. The food was hot, yummy, and had a good variety of options for everybody at the table. Will definitely be visiting again. The location is equipped with large TV's that have commonly a sport playing (Football at the time). It can be loud at times, but, it's still definitely a spot to be able to chill, grab a bite, or drinkVegetarian options: Pleanty of vegan/vegetarian ingredients to make your meal your own.Parking: Parking can be a little tight, but nothing challenging.Kid-friendliness: There is a active bar at this location ! Otherwise there are options for kids on the menu.“

Friendly Customer Service and Very Quick Service! Ambiance was what I expected based on being attached to a Gas Station but it was clean, neat, and orderly. A Great Product!!!“

“My family and I have been coming here since it first opened and we have absolutely loved eating their chicken! It is currently our favorite and #1 place for pollo a la brasa (peruvian rotisserie chicken) in GA. Although not the best peruvian restaurant overall, it surely beats all others only with their really outstanding chicken. If you want to find even better chicken, you'd have to go many hours away to other states. It's great priced, good quality (mainly the chicken), and well portioned.Pollo a la brasa 9/10- It's really juicy and flavorful! It outranks other peruvian restaurants that offer pollo a la brasa in Georgia through its portion size and notable quality of authentic spices of the marinade flavor. The strong and greatly seasoned flavors from the spices is embedded deep into the chicken meat and is not just skin deep like other peruvian restaurants. It was bursting with all the right flavors but was missing the most authentic one, and that is the wood-fired smoky flavor that comes from using a wood fired oven instead of a regular oven. One thing I enjoyed a lot was that the fries were actually crunchy and not soggy like most other restaurants have them. They are not homemade and seem to be frozen fries but it's better than soggy fries. Like in any other restaurant, it can vary depending on their product inventory and who is cooking the fries. Despite that, the fries were not seasoned and rely on the sauces to make up for it.Sauces 8/10- flavorful but not my favorite. The sauces have good herbal taste but lack other flavors and salt. It's the right flavor but just lacks a special touch. I recommend adding salt and a touch of zest from vinegar or a few drops of lemon. Regardless, it pairs well with the chicken and fries. The salad vinaigrette is delicious and well made.Arroz chaufa side 2/10 - the thing I least recommend here. Although it looks delicious on picture, the flavor is bland. It's lacking everything that authentic peruvian fried rice would offer. They definitely focused on the quality of the chicken more than this side.Kid-friendliness: Which kid doesn't love chicken? If not, there is salchipapas that kids often enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: No dislevels to reach the restaurant and both the ordering counter and tables would pose no issues for those in a wheelchair.“

“So there is some pros and cons . Food came out fast , we ordered 4 appetizers Dominican and Colombian empanadas were very good . Loved the tostones ! The sauces they gave us the green verde salsa and the pink sauce were delicious! One appetizer we ordered(forgot the name ) we did not enjoy only because we expected something different . The food ordered was a huge portion ! The rice was good some parts were hard and the meat was good but a little dry but the flavor was there ! I would definitely try again . The waitress was good she did not interact much but she brought out what we needed in a timely manner . I would go again and try some different dishes . Overall enjoyed the experience“

“I really underestimated this place. I often come and sit at the bar for a quick drink, the margs are cheap and all it takes is one for me. I like that you get chips and salsa free. I ordered the rice and beans previously and was unimpressed. Today I got a steak burrito and YALL.. It's probably the best wet burrito I've ever had. The service is great, the owner is very nice and welcoming, the drinks flow, and I like the atmosphere. Definitely one of my go-to places.“

“I LOVE to travel and because of this I have been fortunate to visit many great places. My main love of travel is for two reasons: A) for the scenery/architecture and B) for the culture/food. In my travels I've had the privilege of visiting Guatemala twice. I was blessed to have home-cooked meals by locals all throughout the city. Prior to visiting Guatemala I had no idea there were so many variations of Latin foods between Central-American cultures and it was there I had an eye-opening experience with tamales. Guatemalans make their tamales a lot different than the Mexican style tamales I was familiar with eating most of my life. Their tamales were a lot fatter and far moister than Mexican tamales and the masa is softer. I instantly fell in love with the difference, especially after having eaten many overcooked & hard Mexican tamales in my lifetime. So you can't imagine how delighted I was to discover the Salvadoran tamales here @ Star Bakery are similar to Guatemalan tamales. [ THE FOOD ] After my first taste I returned 3 days in a row because I just couldn't get enough of the amazing flavor! Moist, fluffy, flavorful masa wrapped around juicy & oh so tender chicken. The ladies here truly have magic in their fingers, because it's not just the softness of the masa. I hear chicken bouillon is traditional in seasoning the cornmeal used to make the masa, which would explain why it had such a satisfying aftertaste. I also enjoy their Carne Guisada and delicious Fresas con Crema, but was not a fan of the Baleadas. Something about it tasted sour, almost spoiled. My favorite combination is an order of their Corn Tamales paired with the Grilled Steak next door @ Villino's. I ate them together as if they were steak tamales. The two flavors combined are enough to inspire an epic happy dance! On my latest visit I tried the Pupusas after two other customers in line convinced me I needed this in my life. They both recommended the Chicharron con Queso but I was more interested in the Cameron con Queso, so I ordered one of each. Both were great, but that dang Chicharron was AHHHH-mazing and exploded with flavor! They were absolutely right! * Elote Tamales (5 stars) * Pollo Tamales (5 stars) * Carne Guisada (4.5 stars) * Fresas con Crema (5 stars) * Baleadas (1 star) I think I just got a bad one! * Cameron con Queso (4.5 stars) * Chicharron con Queso (5 stars) [ FINAL THOUGHT ] Take a drive to Plaza Las Americas, casually meander to the food court in the rear and treat yourself to some of the best chicken tamales north of Central America. But don't be in too much of a rush because they take a little time to prepare. If you've ever traveled South of Mexico and sampled these amazing tamales, I think you will agree with me on their authenticity and deliciousness. BUEN PROVECHO! 2022 / 82“
