“This was the best brunch food I’ve had in a long time, by fair. I had the cheesecake French Toast, veggie omelette and creamy grits. Delicious!!!“

“I come here for donkatsu (pork cutlet) once a week, and they've never steered me wrong. For the price, the cutlet is so good, the sauce is amazing. The service has also been great, but probably helped that they ended up knowing my name because I came so often LOL.“

“The first time my friends and I ever did karoke. It was super fun!! We are happy we decided to come here for our first time because the employees were very attentive. One employee showed us how to use the controller to change the music. The room we were in was clean and spacious enough to get up and dance/perform! We were only able to reserve our room for 1 hr but I guess because a lot of people were coming in that night. We ended up paying $20 for 1 hr and party of 3. I would definitely go again, can't wait!!

“I seriously love the service at this Penn station location, and obviously the subs, fries and lemonade has been on point every time we have been there.
My to go are the Philly cheesesteak and the Italian subs. The bread they use is so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I feel like they are the perfect size and had the right amount of ingredients so it’s not a mess while eating.
Their fresh lemonade its a bit sweeter than I would prefer it but my wife and son loves it that way.
And the French fries are always freshly made so you will definitely have crunchy and warm fries on your visits.
Dine in or take out we have always had a great experience on our visits.

“The bartenders here are what make my experience to tops! They are knowledgeable and friendly and actually greet you and interact with you. Glenn is great and Hunter is awesome. Hunter remembers your drink and food preferences and is always coming up with new drinks to try!
The food is excellent. I have a few favorites that I always get which makes it hard to try new things, lol. But I highly recommend the chicken panini (with extra arugula), the Ahi Tuna salad and the Shrimp and Grits. Large meals so bring a big appetite! The deserts are good but too big for one person and not a wide variety offered. I feel like there should always be chocolate on the menu and here there is not :(
The only other slight issue I have is that the floor is a danger for anyone wearing heels or slick shoes. Not only that but I almost always sit at the bar and the stools slide easily across the floor which is annoying.“

“Waited 10 minutes for our server. Had to get host Constetine to get our drinks. Friday June 13, 2025 at 1320. Food was amazing ! Lobster bisque, chicken breast sandwich delicious, wedge salad delicious. Nothing negative to say about food . Service was extremely disappointing. Saw our server 3 times ! Only one refill of drinks .“

5-7pm expect there to be a wait and service can be slow sometimes but that’s understandable. Still worth a try, and we will continue to come back!“

“We visited Duluth from Arizona because my wife's family lives out here. We wanted to check out some breweries and let me tell you, this is one brewery you have to check out! Our bartender was Matthew, not only was he super friendly and welcoming, but he made our experience here so much fun! The whole staff was awesome to my wife and my mother in law. I had a flight of IPAs and the Master Of Chaos imperial IPA was hands down all of our favorite. I hope this review convinces more people to check out Good Word, try a flight, and have a great time! 20/10 would recommend!“

“My wife and I found this spot today for Sunday Brunch and it was fantastic! I had the Short Rib Hash and my wife had the Salmon Benedict. A fabulous cocktail and Creme Brulee for dessert. Service was also great!“
