We tried 4 rolls and the takoyaki. The food was great all the rolls were fresh the seafood was fresh and everything tasted great. The servers were nice and I would recommend grabbing a bite of your visiting the area or having this as a go to if you live nearby.“

“My very first visit to Mama Pho won me over from the very start. I was greeted by a very pretty waitress by the name ViVi. She was so nice and sweet. The food was served in a timely manner. “OMG, I finally found a restaurant with beef noodle soup that is closest to the taste in Vietnam. The beef noodle soup here has rare beef, flowered beef shank (not the meat used for pho), blood, pork sausage, Hue pepper rolls, rich broth with meat stew, lemongrass, not onion, garlic, lemongrass and then poured into a bowl. . Looks simple but keeps the flavor of beef noodle soup! Highly recommend!!!!“

“One of the best pho places around, located slightly NE of Atlanta. The food stall is located in the Hong Kong Market's food court-- dining is super casual.
No frills, just good noodle soup.

You know it's authentic when the herbs are plentiful, and soup comes out tongue burning hot. The menu is primarily variations of pho, but also has Bun Bo Hue and Bum Mam.

The pho broth had a deep beef flavor. There was a sheen of fatty broth (nước béo) that made the soup even richer. It was very aromatic with a hint of sweetness. The herbs consisted of the typical selection (thai basil, culantro, bean sprouts. jalapeño, and limes). There were paddy herbs included which is rare (and not to everyone's taste). The noodle-protein-soup ratio was perfect.

Forewarning: It's a one man operated stall, with an occasional assistant. Still, three pho bowls came out in ~10-15 minutes.“

“The Bún Măng Vịt here is amazing! The duck was tender and flavorful, the bamboo shoot broth was rich and comforting, and the ginger fish sauce was the perfect balance of spicy and tangy — just like how it’s made back home in Vietnam. Truly authentic and satisfying.

Our daughter (10 months old) is a picky eater and she loves the xiu mai chao, tropical fruit salad, and bone marrow pho broth.

“This place is very cozy and the cashier was so nice! The banh mis are made fresh so it does take a little longer but it’s so worth it. Everything is well balanced. Bread was fluffy and crunchy. The Vietnamese sauce compliments the juicy crispy wings. No dipping sauce needed for their wings. The grilled pork banh mi - get the pate added and it’ll set it off. The pork was tender and smoky. They have sugarcane juice which was the best refreshing drink for a hot summer day. It’s a modern Vietnamese fusion spot that actually does it right. It still tastes Vietnamese but in a different way. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend!!“

I was first introduced to pho when I was 22 and working at a Korean law firm. For the past 11 years, pho has been my go-to meal for everything: hangover, common cold, emotional comfort. I'd not be exaggerating to estimate I've been going to different pho restaurants at least once a week for 11 years. This is the very first one where a waiter or staff member has suggested something and said "that's the way we eat it in Vietnam." Our waiter suggested a sauce mixture (the base of which is his homemade recipe) that had my husband saying the two quotes at the beginning of this review. And he added "it's like a Vietnamese holy water, purging the demons from my sinuses" before we left. I'd highly recommend this place. We'll definitely be back - hopefully we'll get more "back in Vietnam" recommendations too! It adds so much to the experience when someone shares their passion and homeland experiences with you - it is obvious food here is cooked with love. “I've been coming to Saigon Cafe for years. I used to go to the one that used to be in Gwinnett Marketfair shopping plaza. I always get the same thing, Spicy Basil dinner with chicken and I like it Thai hot. Tonight, they delivered 🙌 it's burning my lips off in the best way. “I have been here for about 15 years and finally give them a review. Most typical Vietnamese don’t give reviews and I’m one of them ?. We either come back if it’s good or don’t come back if it’s not good. Food is excellent and still the same for past 15 years and the same owners. My favorite is bún chả cá (fish cakes noodles) and bánh canh cua (crab noodles). My husband likes cơm tấm đặc biệt 7 món (7 special combinations broken rice) and bún bò huế (spicy beef noodles). They all are good. They are like home made food and I typically order them on the days that I don’t want to cook. Give them a try and help the owners stay in business.“

Broth was good and this is the only place they really load up the beef including tripe and tendon, which i was craving. Other places put 1 or 2 pieces and thats it. The beef was all tendor, didnt struggle with chewy tough beef like most pho places. They really put a lot of pho too. Other places have the giant bowl with little ball of pho and mostly broth. This is my go to when in the area.“

Đây là lần đầu tiên mình đến tiệm VN Tofu. Rất khác với các tiệm khác. Ở đây các nhân viên bán hàng vui vẻ niềm nở giới thiệu các thức ăn rất tận tình với khách hàng mà thực sự nói thức ăn ở đây rất ngon và rẻ. Cũng như vậy sau khi đi chơi biển xong trên đường về mình có ghé tiệm VN ToFu mua gần $ 300 dollar thức ăn đem về. Thích nhất là bánh mì mua 5 tặng 1. Đặc biệt ở đây các nhân viên nói được cả 2 thứ tiếng Việt và Anh. Có phần khen ngợi các nhân viên trẻ nói tiếng việt quá giỏi. Sau này nếu có xuống Atlanta Georgia nhất định mình sẽ đến VN ToFu.“
