Nice place. Great bagels and atmosphere. A little slow but well worth it
Can get busy, but ample seating outdoors if indoors gets packed. Sunday - this place gets pack since everything else is closed. Team is fast and food prep (even when slammed). Cannot go wrong with any of the food options.
We attended a luncheon at The Bookshelf and enjoyed sandwiches and chips from Empire Bagel. (The Dee's Chicken salad has ample filling and a fresh tomato. The metropolitan club on a wrap was tasty and the veggie schmear made it unique). We stopped by the Empire Bagels storefront later on, to pick up bagels and cream cheese.
