“Really lovely experience! The service, ambiance, and food were all top notch. The cavatelli is delish, as is the white chocolate pistachio cheesecake. The only negative is parking is just street parking - if you go during off hours, parking is fine. When it’s busy, parking can be tricky. But major props to the team. With so many restaurants in town, I don’t repeat many, but I’ll go back here!“
“A fantastic surprise. We stumbled into this delightful restaurant on accident and plan to return often. Homemade bread, traditional Turkish meals with fresh ingrediants and a very pleasing atmosphere. Staff was happy, welcoming, and efficient. I look forward to returning again and again.“
“I had the hummus, the lentil soup and grilled vegetables. I had been hoping for some vegan baba ghanoush, but the menu stated that it had yogurt in it. The hummus was much better than your average store bought hummus. It came with pita bread and a few olives, if it had included some cucumber slices and celery sticks it could probably be a meal in itself. The vegan items are not labeled on the menu, but the staff were friendly and answered questions.“
“I love the food, service, ambiance and everything about this place. No non-sense. The food and hospitality speak for themselves, but the fact this place is always booming with familiar faces during lunch is a testament to Cafe Sababa. I'm sad it took me so long to discover this place, but this is a new weekly stop for me and it should be for you as well. The Lamb Sandwich and Shawarma Pocket are on another level!“
“We really enjoy coming here for lunch because it's just so convenient for us since we work nearby. Every item on the menu here is just so tasty, but I have to say my top picks are the Koefta sandwich with fries and the Falafel Platter. And the best part is, the owner is always super friendly and welcoming!“
“I had this owner of this restaurant allWrong. This is the new owner of the same Mediterranean restaurant my apologies to all Google family I do apologize very greatly deeply sorrow please if you can find it within your heart to forgive me because as soon as my health gets better I will be back at that beautiful restaurant and I will make sure that you get your chicken shawarma fresh and of course best believe other dishes that might not be on the picture but I can make a meal that Will Rock you and I do mean that for real...Once again thank you so much and God bless ?“
“It was my first time and I got to say I really enjoyed it, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We took the ribs and chops and also tried the chicken wings and let me tell you the ribs were soft and cooked at perfect temperature. It was just amazing. They had a few side options to go with the mean like green beans and some eggplant stew which were nice. Best thing is it’s even halal so I’d totally recommend it. It is next to a masjid which I thought was nice.“
“Ordered takeout for lunch today and I was thoroughly impressed start to finish. The owner was very sweet and eagerly explained each side. I love their passion for authentic Greek/Mediterranean food. You can tell in the food - everything was extremely fresh, delicious and fast. Some of the best I’ve had. I’ll definitely be retuning!“
“Maximos is wonderful! I've been a customer for nearly 20 years and have never been disappointed with my food or my service. Daniel and extended family are accommodating and polite each and every visit. I feel lucky to have stumbled upon this place. Food is consistently delicious and consistently great! As long as Maximo's is open, it will remain in my rotation! Thank you Maximo's! Keep doing what you've been doing for nearly 25 years!“
“I love this place every time I come here. The I get a salmon wrap, salmon is always cooked to perfection not too hard and so perfectly moist and soft. And I usually get it with the pesto wrap with the veggie wrap mixed this time I combined all three, and I got the harissa with the pesto in a veggie wrap. It was absolutely amazing definitely made with love and the veggies are sooo good. I always get a side of the basmati, rice, and a cucumber and tomato salad. I was going to take a picture, but then I ate all the food. It’s always so fast, but still made with Love and I like that I can still dine in and relax and work.“
“The food was very good. The food was flavorful and served hot. We had 3 appetizers; the Kebbe stuffed with meat, Turkish Lahmajoun and the fried cauliflower with a tasty sauce. Our mains were the 10oz burger, schnitzel burger, schnitzel platter and Roasted Eggplant with tahina as well as 2 children's meals. The service was excellent. The ambiance was average. I would definitely eat at Nur kitchen again“
“This restaurant is a gem in the Clarkston community! The service is excellent - always greeted with a smile day from day one. The food is delicious and you can tell great care went into preparing it. This is now my go to spot away from home (literally down the street)!“
“It's a 10/10 for me One of my family's favorite restaurant. The restaurant is very clean and comfortable. The food, very tasty and serving potions are neither to big or too little. and priced very fairly. Service is very timely and courteous. The music completes the ambience.“
“The little restaurant is inside a market with Israeli goods. It feels like little Israel! There’s parking out front, but if there are no spots available, there’s more parking at the back of the building. I ordered with the cashier and when it was ready, my food was on the counter by the takeout window next to the cashier’s counter. There’s a small area with tables and chairs, plus a counter, for dining in. For the pastries, you get a styrofoam container or a paper bag, then use the tongs. You bring it to the cashier, show them what you got, and then pay.I got the Shawarma Platter ($19) with rice. It came with Israeli salad, hummus, and tahini. It was delicious, but I also tried the Shawarma Sandwich on pita ($16), and I thought that was even better.Every pastry I’ve had has been delicious. Highly recommend just trying them all! Not sure about individual prices, but I got 6 pastries and it came out to about $10-$11.Highly recommend! Can’t wait to go back!“
“There’s no words to it when it’s good excellent clean food that’s organic that knows what you’re going into your body. I mean it’s just there’s no words to describe the good feeling that you have and spicy lamb meatballs ❤️❤️❤️.“
“My friends and I enjoyed eating at Dijla and had a very nice experience there. The atmosphere was very nice and I highly recommend people to go and enjoy the nice music and belly dancer that performs on particular nights. The staff was very friendly and nice especially Zahra. She was very welcoming and the costumer service she provided was amazing. Khadija Hamadon.“
“The best place to visit,I called and booked the spot for 8 ppl for the iftar buffet.the 2 guys who were serving my family were so awesome, very professional, and they were waiting for us to arrive, which we were late. They didn't give the spot away. When we arrived, the food was running out, but Ameer and Jordan offered us new and fresh food. Love the atmosphere so relaxing food was so dam good. It's worth the drive from Augusta to Atlanta.“
“This place is amazing. Not only the best Turkish food in Atlanta, it is also the best restaurant in Virginia Highland. I normally get the mixed grill but today I got the beef tenderloin and Adana kebab. Both were perfect. I also highly recommend getting the mix of 3 spreads. My favorites are babaganoush, muhammara, and eggplant salad.“
“Everything was perfect! Food at the restaurant was delicious, groceries were top-tier, a room to pray in, clean restrooms, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Highly highly recommend. Can’t wait to bring my whole family! Thank you!! ???Vegetarian options: Cheese pies, spinach pies, falafel, rice, hummus, pita bread, etc.Kid-friendliness: Very comfortable & spacious for children.“
“I've been eating at Athens Pizza since 1982. I keep going back because the food, the service and the atmosphere is outstanding. If you like great Greek food a comfortable atmosphere then this is the restaurant for you. The moussaka is to die for! “
“Love the Greek salad here and then getting 3 falafel on the side to put on top of the salad. The falafel sandwich "wrap" is also nice here for $8. If you show up between 12 and 1 be prepared to wait for about 15 minutes at least for a 1 person order because it is a popular lunch spot. Also, this place has the guilting you tip screen like so many establishments for take-out orders nowadays.“
“This was such a rewarding experience! The Falafels were top tier! Everything tasted so good. I got the Salad mixed with grilled onions and falafel, plus plus plus lol. So Tasty! The employees were welcoming and patient as I tried to decipher what all I wanted.“
“I tried the restaurant inside the Tip Top Market after a suggestion from Next Door. I pass by almost everyday on my way to one of my offices and did not call my attention. I went for lunch and took some pictures so you have an idea of how it looks inside. At the end of the market is the restaurant with tables of different sizes. They bring you three small plates at the beginning while you wait for your food. I took a picture of them.I ordered the Moustaffa that is eggplant with ground beef. It came with rice and a salad. My intention was to take a picture of my food before I started but I forgot. I took it midway. Next time I would do.They ran out of desserts. I would be back and try other menu items.“
“The best Greek restaurant in town and around for many miles! This is a review that has been long awaited and absolutely earned. Athens Kouzzina is a jewel of a restaurant that I have the displeasure of not knowing earlier in my life. Having gone to this mall many times and walking by it many times in my youth, it was only when I was in my late teens when my family and I decided to go try it out and, goodness was it a good decision! None of the other Greek restaurants I have ever been to have compared to Athens Kouzzina. They have that special cooking touch that others can’t replicate. The owner being Greek and well experienced, this restaurant absolutely earns its many accolades that it has won over the many years of its operation. They don’t win these accolades year over year for no reason. If you are in the area and want some really good quality Greek food, you cannot skip on Athens Kouzzina.Athens Wings 20/10 - May honestly be the best thing on the menu and something you should not miss out on. My family and I always get this on every visit! It is 100% the best chicken wing of any flavor out there. Not only are the wings fried to perfection, but they are also bathed in an exquisite, unique, and extremely delectable sauce. This special and secret sauce holds several spices (presumably Greek) and flavors that just cannot be beat anywhere. It is notable that there was pride and expertise put into this mix. This sauce seeps very deeply into the chicken and gives it just another reality of flavor. And to make it even better, they have this most delectable feta cream sauce to dip them in. This feta sauce is like tzatziki sauce but far more flavorful. This trifecta of impeccable food quality is irresistibly delicious and guaranteed to make your taste buds beg you for another plate. As you can tell from my review, it is one of the best things I have ever put in my mouth and definitely the best wings out there. If you’re reading this, stop what you’re doing, put your diet on hold, and come try these!Athens Platter 10/10 – A large plate of some amazingly flavorful ingredients. I have tried the gyro meat, chicken, and pork souvlaki and can say they all taste very delicious. My personal favorite is the gyro meat due to its deep strong flavor. I suppose you can say that most gyro meats come premade into restaurants, but I cannot comment on whether it is homemade or bought. Regardless, it does have a good flavor. The chicken has its Greek seasoning though the flavor does not seep deep into the chicken meat as I would prefer. The pork is the least flavorful of the 3 and has the same issue with the seasoning not seeping deeply into the center. Regardless, both still have good flavor and can be dipped into the tzatziki sauce for an amazing combination. I always recommend getting a ½ and ½ platter so you can try from 2 delicious meals. The Greek potatoes are seasoned quite well and so are the fries if you choose to go that route. The rest of the platter is a simple salad and pita bread but those are just to accompany the other delicious things on the plate. Mix all these flavors together or in a small pita sandwich that you can make, and you have quite a flavorful bite of food. If you want a pro tip, ask for the feta sauce instead of/in addition to the tzatziki sauce for an even better experience! You can thank me later.Mt. Olympus Nachos 10/10 – A true literal mountain of unique and delicious nachos with a Greek spin on them. This is also one of my favorite things to get here and is such a great dish to share due to its enormous portion. Instead of nacho chips, fried potato chips are used instead. These are showered with vegetables, tzatziki sauce, and your choice of meat. There are no other nacho mountains high enough to reach the delicious flavor on the Mt. Olympus nachos. The culmination of all the topics on one bite of that crunchy potato chip is truly out of this world as well. One last note, the closer you stay to the Greek food, the better. I am at least happy that there is such a great focus on Greek food.Parking: Plenty of pa“
“Great Gyros and Platters. I prefer the Chicken Beef platter. Everything is good and filling for the price. The whits sauce they use is SO FRIGGIN GOOD!! THE RICE IS AWESOME!! Hell, I could order just the rice and Id be good. Just need to work on their Greek Sauce for the salad. The Greek sauce doesn't really have much flavor but that could just be me. I have already ordered 3 times from here and love the food. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.“
“The person taking my husband's order was super nice. He gave us a taste test because it was our first time. And even brought the food out to the car because hubby didn't want to leave me sitting in the car long by myself. I'll leave the food review “
“I want to say that this was my first time trying this restaurant. My friends and I really wanted to experience something different. So we thought hey why not Moroccan. The food is pricey and not all of it was delicious. The one thing that made us really enjoy our experience was the belly dancer. She came and made 3 shows and in the end got all the crowd up to dance!! The staff were all super friendly. They asked us if we liked the food we were too shy to say we did not being that maybe this is just simply how Moroccan food is. Ambiance was intimate and I liked the coziness of it, the restaurant looked clean. In summary: I liked the ambiance, the staff, even the appetizer and my soup. I did not like my entree. My friends also did not like their entree. The only one who ate her meal was the one who ordered chicken kabob. At the end they give you a delicious mint tea with a small piece of baklava. Beautiful and different experience.“
“Halal Guys is a late-night gem! Their chicken, gyros, and falafel platters are a great options, satisfying cravings even in the wee hours. The fact that they're open until 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays is a game-changer. I like to order a platter. It comes with your choice of protein, rice, lettuce tomatoes and then you can add onion, green peppers, jalapeños, white sauce and hot sauce. Each bite is a burst of flavor, making it the perfect spot for a tasty, late-night feast. Try the hot sauce with caution! A must-try for those looking for a delicious and convenient dining option during late hours! It's a better option than McDonalds and Taco Bell when you're still hungry but don't want fast food.“
“Food was good and the waitress was really good. She even tried to get me some pita bread to dip in the olive oil and sauce from the dish since they were out of their usual. However, the chef said in a nasty and aggressive manner (i was seating close to the kitchen area) that they weren't going to take anymore orders and could not spare any pita pieces. The waitress came to my table and said she couldn't bring me any because the kitchen was closed. The biggest disappointment came from the fact that it was 8:45 and the restaurant closes at 9pm. I just don't think that chef cares about the patrons. I recommend retraining or replacing.“
“There are not enough stars to give this place. The food was absolutely amazing. There were no complaints about any of the dishes we tried. I would highly recommend all of them. On top of that the staff was outstanding. They were top notch. The prices were also very good and their baklava was homemade and superb.“
“We enjoyed some fast-casual Greek food at Grecian Gyro-Tucker. My husband both ordered the Gyro Wraps which were fresh and yummy. Leyla & Alex were friendly and happy to serve us! we chose to dine in but you can can also get to go at the counter OR order ahead online on their website and have it ready to grab-N-go. We are lucky to have a location here in Tucker! #OnceAWeekGoGreek“
“I believe I know my Medertanian food very well and I must tell you all..... Ali Baba is da bomb! Lol..... I got the Lamb Gyro combo with Medertanian pasta/ feta cheese & Greek salad! I got all of this for $16.00 plus tax. Chef Ahmet and Manager Jojo made a killer lunch for myself and had to get a box to take half of it home. Mmmmm- yummy!“
“My personal favorite is their chicken shawarma with extra garlic and Greek fries! Always hits the spot. -Their falafels are delicious -I love taking advantage of their lunch specials! The staff is super helpful with suggestions as well. You cannot go wrong and unsatisfied.“
“This is the first affordable West African food I've ever found stateside! $7.50 for spicy chicken and some sort of yummy veggie plasa. I hope this lunch special works out for them, as I would love to see more of these places offering something for less than $20. (side note: if there could be a veggies+yam special at this price, that would be fantastic).Great playlist, too!“
“Hey guys it was my first time trying Cava and it was a good experience . The atmosphere was great and the workers were very nice especially the mangers . I would definitely come back again and try the pita but I tried the bowl and it didn’t disappoint!!!“
“Yum! Tucked into a little strip mall, a hidden gem! You can tell it's cooked fresh and the portions are very generous. My husband had the Chicken Kabob Sandwich with a Greek salad and he was so happy. The chicken was piping hot and it was covered in fresh green leaf lettuce with ripe red tomatoes and so much delicious yogurt sauce. I had a Gyro and it also was delicious with fresh lettuce and tomatoes and plenty of tzatziki sauce. We also had the rice, feta and olives and 2 pistachio baklava triangles. Highly recommend.“
“Food is just okay, nothing exceptional. The rice was not flavorful, but it was a good texture. The spicy chicken koobideh was not spicy. The salad didn't taste amazing, and they forgot to give us the dressing. The sprite had a weird aftertaste. There was a lot of parking outside and the restaurant was not crowded.“
“Food is always good, but again, they are out of something. This time, no pickled onions and no avocado. Two of the ingredients of the Harissa Avocado bowl. Would have been helpful to tell me that before taking my order and getting it half done, then telling me you are out of two main ingredients. Staff is friendly.“
“Let me start by saying I come into this location ALL the time on my lunch break and have never had an issue, unfortunately today that wasn’t the case. I always order the same thing half lamb, half chicken and have grown accustomed to the portion size this Cava gives. The young lady they had working this evening gave an extremely small amount of braised lamb. I raised concern about it and the purple hair lady working added more lamb and proceeded to ring me up for a full size of lamb plus the half which brought my bowl to $22. As I was explaining to the “manger” my concern purple hair cut me off repeatedly. The only reason I’m reason I’m eating this location what I am is because Quil (another employer) stepped in, diffused, and corrected the situation. THANK YOU Quil for actually having some customer service skills“
“Fantastic food experience last night at Cava. Marcus was super informative in explaining the process for a 1st timer with onion sensitivity. Place was rocking with heavy takeout and in rest diners. Only suggestion is a way to tip on the pos system.“
“This is my favorite CAVA location. The customer service and food quality are consistent. Kierra and Josh made my bowl just the way I like it. I especially like that the staff at this location seem to work very well together, they are efficient and professional. I highly recommend this CAVA location!“
“I fell in love with Grecian Gyro at the College Park location. The same tradition of tastiness carries over to this Tucker location. I had a souvlaki gyro and it just made my night. I can't remember what my wife had, but it was gone before mine was. Another friend had the falafel and paid it some compliments. (And this is a woman who knows her Greek, be assured.) Service was quick, staff made some good recommendations, and the place was relatively quiet. I tried the ice cream thing they serve here. IMO, don't waste your time with this. There's better ice cream to be had not too far away. But for the Greek goodness? I can't wait to go again. Holler if you're coming with.“
