The kitchen was slow, considering we were the only table ordering at 4 pm in the afternoon and only three other tables eating. I ordered the Isan Combo and it was perfectly portioned and delicious. The only setback was the sticky rice hardened within minutes and I was disappointed because it was difficult to eat. The khao soi was beautifully presented and tasted pretty good. The lobster roll was perfect and delicious! The pricing is higher than normal for Thai food; understandably due to location, but I would definitely come back here to try other items.“

“Stopping by to try this new thai place located in food hub in decatur. You can order through 3rd party apps like DoorDash Uber Grubhub or order at the tablet when you walk in. The food was fantastically flavorful and authentic. The portion and price are reasonable. They are very new, be patient and give them some time to workout some kinks in the operation. Parking can be challenging due to location being food hub and lots of delivery drivers traffic.“

Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂 From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. Chinese food with a Malaysian flair, their Malaysian dishes like Mee Goreng and their Curry Laksa are my favs. If you like Thai food but less sweet you have to try Malaysian! I think the owners used to own Little Malaysia which was my FAVORITE restaurant growing up. I wish they’d do a full service restaurant again. Makes me miss my dad and grandma extra. “This was my first time dining at a Tin Drum Asian Kitchen and it was a solid choice!

Parking: Located in a shopping plaza, had no issue finding parking right in front of the restaurant.

Service: you order at the counter. They had an extensive menu offered in a booklet style at the counter which was unique and they had a separate book for their many Boba tea offerings.

Food: I got some sort of noodles, maybe Singapore noodles? Flavor was great and the portion gave me enough for leftovers. I enjoyed it and would order it again next time!“

Find this place while in the area I wanted some good Chinese food.

I stopped in & placed a Togo order.

I ordered braised wings , the seafood combination, another order of braised wings with fried rice & crab wagoons

The sauce/ flavoring on the wings was sooo good. They were good sized wings too.

The seafood combination was also good the seafood taste wasn’t over powering & with the rice it was a good mixture

It took about 10 mins before our food to be ready and they were super friendly even 20 mins before closing.

If I’m in the area again. I’m definitely stopping in.“

“I frequent this franchise a lot. This location is the closest to my house so I come to this location the most. Coming here is hit or miss. Today, the Chinese American Fried Rice had too much sauce. I’m guessing it’s soy sauce. The Firecracker Cauliflower is always a hit! The Chinese Green Bean weren’t bad. Their Thai Tea is sometimes bland, other times excellent. Bland today. This location needs to take notes from the Dunwoody location which has yet to disappoint.“
