The food was absolutely fantastic — every bite was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was our waitress, Mandy. Mandy was simply amazing. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and personal, taking the time to make us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. She went above and beyond to help make our son’s birthday feel special, and her kindness and energy brought a smile to all of our faces — even after a long, sandy day at the beach. It’s rare to find a place where the food and the service are equally top-notch, but this restaurant nailed it. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we could come back. Huge thanks to Mandy and the whole team for making a special day even more memorable!“

“This was the best food we had!!! The server had only been there 3 days but served as if she had been there forever. We did have a wait but worth it. The red fish which was one of the fresh catch of the day was cooked perfectly. The crab cakes, shrimp and grits and shrimp were all spot on. The atmosphere made you feel like a local ❤️“

“My wife and I found Huc A Poos on our honeymoon back in 2019 and feel in love with the place. We try to go back to Tybee, at least every other year, and we make sure that Huc A Poos is one of the main places we eat at.“

“I totally recommend this amazing restaurant and the employees! The food is exceptional and never a disappointment. Also a huge thankful to the manager, Ron.. he went above and beyond, and helped me in the situation with my sugar as a diabetic. Was extremely low in the danger situation and he opened his restaurant to me and provided me with orange juice to help me stay alive, so a HUGE Thank you and I will always be Grateful to him and employees for being good human beings and showing compassion!! “went with a friend. We each got a single scoop of ice cream (no toppings). It was $18.. before being prompted to tip. There is a reason they don't have a complete list of prices listed. The man at the register made a bit of an unappreciated remark. He said the guy dipping ive cream was giving generous portions (which was comical).. and tried to act like we got double scoops. (we did not) won't be back.“

“We had an amazing waitress who was attentive to our family’s needs. We have 4 kids and they tend to get loud. But she interacted with them and made sure to take care of them with their food and beverages. And the fried fish dinner suggestion was appreciated. Hands down best fried fish I’ve ever had. If you are near Tybee, you have got to drive on down and try it. Seasoned well, fried to perfection, and delicious moist fish. Great service, fun atmosphere, and delicious food!“
