“This small place is absolutely amazing! The Jamaican food is authentic, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. Their lunch special is especially a great deal.

I had the jerk chicken, chicken soup, and plantains, and I enjoyed every single part of the meal. Everything tasted fresh and full of real Jamaican flavor.

The only small challenge for me was understanding the lady because her Jamaican accent was very strong, so I had to listen carefully. But besides that, the service was fine and the food was excellent.

This place definitely deserves five stars. If you’re looking for real Jamaican food at a good price, I highly recommend it!“

“I enjoyed my meal overall but wanted to leave a review here since for whatever reason ubereats would allow me to rate my order.I wanted to give this order 5 stars because overall I really did enjoy my meal but there just a few things preventing me from doing so.I ordered the spaghetti it’s a TASTY and HUGE portion of food. But my garlic bread was very BURNT. So burnt I’m surprised they thought it was fit to serve.The salmon with rice and salad was good! You get a ton of Haitian rice. I never had it before but really enjoyed it. Although the rice had a slightly burnt taste to it. Like the rice itself wasn’t burnt but maybe the bottom of the pot was. But it was still edible and well seasoned but the burnt after taste does linger. Also, they forgot to include my plantains.Lastly, I ordered what was labeled “Haitian Kola” on Uber eats thinking it was some sort of fancy Hatian cultural soda and was really excited to try a new drink but it turned out to be regular old fashioned coke. I was a bit disappointed and had I known it was regular Coke I would not have ordered it.Overall the items that bothered me weren’t enough to write this place off completely. Everyone has off days so I will try it again. But next time I’ll try it in person instead of ubereats.Like I said great taste and HUGE portions. Will give them another try.“

“I like this place. The food is great. The food is seasoned to perfection. My rice and chicken portion were also excellent servings for the price. You cant beat it. I love the vibe, it seems like a chill calm classy vibe where you can come in be relaxed while you order, get your food, and youre good to go.“

“First off 5am till 5am. Where else are you getting oxtails, cassava leaf, okra soup, curry, jerk, brown stew chicken, grilled lamb till 5 in the morning? They open 7 days a week. Christmas, new years, Labor Day, thanksgiving day. They open 365 days of the year.

Now let’s get to the food. Consistency is there. Most important. (I rather have some decent food tasting the same every time I order vs some really good food sometimes/terrible food other times.) The food is good. Try oxtails no gravy and get some jerk sauce on the side. Tasted way better that way. The wings are good and the Philly is too. They fit like 20 flavors of wings.

If you’re by the airport and you’re hungry and it’s late, you won’t find a better spot that’s open till 5am. There are tall chairs for waiting and a tall table that some people eat at sometimes. There are 2 tablets to order from as opposed to waiting in line for a register.

The inside is usually clean. The wait can be long sometimes but most of the times 15-20 mins. They have 2 tvs on playing nba highlights.

Sometimes you can be sitting there waiting for your food and be the only one in there. By the time your number is called and you turn around to walk out, 10 cars would have pulled up and it’ll be packed just that fast. They don’t come for no reason.

There is a spot that is better priced and seems to be more popular just one light down. It’s called “Legend Cafe”. Don’t do it to yourself. Tastes like cheap Chinese food. One night I was meeting some at the gas station that it Sits near it and
watched all the people go in and out of legend and they all had one thing in common, intoxicated!

Back to VIP. Sometimes that club/bar scene comes in and it’ll become the after hours spot. That may last a hour or so but it doesn’t happen often, mostly party holidays and some random days on the weekend. Maybe a there was a big sports game or a big boxing match that night.
