“I was visiting from Boston and was pleasantly surprised to find an authentic jamaican food restaurant in the neighborhood. The food was great. I wished I had gone back before I left but they closed at 7pm, which is the only complaint I could offer.“

“This is hands down some of the best food I’ve ever tasted in my life. I discovered this place while looking for food options in an area I just moved to, and it popped up with nearly five-star reviews. I remember thinking, How does a restaurant with ratings like this exist here and I’ve never heard of it? I knew I had to try it.

From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by Chef JP, who was incredibly kind, warm, and friendly. The food looked amazing—fresh, hot, and full of flavor—and I couldn’t wait to try it. He even let me sample a few items, which I truly appreciated since I’m very particular about what I eat.

I’ve been pescatarian for almost 10 years, but this year I added chicken back into my diet after becoming a new mother and breastfeeding. My nutritionist and lactation nurse recommended more protein, so I made the change. The fact that this place offers both fish and chicken options is a huge plus. They even have turkey wings, which I’ve never tried before but am definitely planning to try next.

I was blown away by the portion sizes, the value, and most importantly, the freshness and taste of the food. Everything was incredible. I literally sat there thinking, This is my new go-to spot. I’m a great cook myself, but finding food this good—especially in a new area—is rare.

This place is truly a hidden gem, and more people need to know about it. I told Chef JP I would leave a review, and here it is. He deserves a 10-star rating, but since Google only allows five, just know that everything was a 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.“

Shout out to old nat golden krust.. uno hold mi down for years but the line too long and now that camp creek got golden krust.. it's a wrap.. mi nah lef. Only tropical cuisine on old nat might si mi. Frittas here, corm meal porridge, curry goat. Only ask for some more coconut milk in my rice and peas and one more fridge for fresh juices and ice cream.“

“I enjoyed my meal overall but wanted to leave a review here since for whatever reason ubereats would allow me to rate my order.I wanted to give this order 5 stars because overall I really did enjoy my meal but there just a few things preventing me from doing so.I ordered the spaghetti it’s a TASTY and HUGE portion of food. But my garlic bread was very BURNT. So burnt I’m surprised they thought it was fit to serve.The salmon with rice and salad was good! You get a ton of Haitian rice. I never had it before but really enjoyed it. Although the rice had a slightly burnt taste to it. Like the rice itself wasn’t burnt but maybe the bottom of the pot was. But it was still edible and well seasoned but the burnt after taste does linger. Also, they forgot to include my plantains.Lastly, I ordered what was labeled “Haitian Kola” on Uber eats thinking it was some sort of fancy Hatian cultural soda and was really excited to try a new drink but it turned out to be regular old fashioned coke. I was a bit disappointed and had I known it was regular Coke I would not have ordered it.Overall the items that bothered me weren’t enough to write this place off completely. Everyone has off days so I will try it again. But next time I’ll try it in person instead of ubereats.Like I said great taste and HUGE portions. Will give them another try.“

“I LOOOOOVEEEE THEIR FOOD! The jerk chicken is absolutely AMAZING! ITS THE BEST JERK IVE EVER HAD! The flavors will make your taste buds explode! I've been eating from here for the last 3 years and I've never been disappointed! The owners are always nice and the patties and plantains are delicious! These people have the BEST sweet plantains, I've been to other places and nothing compares!

Also the prices and portions are beyond reasonable. I normally eat off of my plate for atleast 2 days!“

“Food is on point and fair priced“

“First time here--I pulled up right around closing time, desperate, looking crazy, and they were still open, but only had wings. I got a 15pc with fries, and they let me do half-and-half with the sauces, so i tried the Jamaican Jerk and Carolina Tangy Gold. The wings were your average hood-wing size, were fried just right, and i enjoyed both sauces. The Jerk was good and spicy, not too pepper-hot. The Carolina was tasty, too, but I went for the Jerk first, so I couldn't really gauge whether the Carolina had any spicy kick--if it did, the Jerk outspiced it. The fries were crinkle, my fav, and came out fresh and hot with a nice crisp to em, yet soft and done on the inside. They come unseasoned, but they have a big bottle of seasoned salt and one of ketchup on a table to the side of the cashier window. As far as price, don't get me started on how nearly every restaurant in metro Atlanta has been overpriced since COVID... as far as eating out, I'd definitely stop through again.“
