I called Big Daddy's Soul Food to let them know and Big Daddy himself made sure that I got my food fresh and hot as he had one of his employees deliver it to me. “If you’re looking for a breakfast spot that feels like home with food that tastes like heaven, Yummies Cafe in Riverdale, GA, is it! My family and I recently visited for breakfast, and we were blown away by the quality and care that went into every bite. The pancakes were the perfect mix of fluffy and crispy, with golden edges that added the ideal crunch. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the bacon? It was everything bacon should be… crispy, smoky, and satisfying. The fried chicken was a standout, perfectly seasoned and fried to a golden, juicy crisp. But the real star of the meal? The cinnamon honey biscuits!!! These were hands down the best biscuits we’ve ever had… soft, buttery, and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth heavenly! “Barrio ATL is an entire VIBEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I ended up here on a Thursday. I was in the Cascade area and in the mood for tacos. After a search on Yelp Barrio ATL popped up and was where we headed for the night. As a heads up, Barrio ATL sits in the corner of the strip plaza. As such, the parking can be a bit tight so be sure to choose a space accordingly. Upon walking in, the ambiance puts you in the mindset of a trendy hookah lounge. Wall seating, chairs, and tables are to the left, and a VIP area style is to the right. The DJ is directly to the left of the VIP area and the bar area is to the left of the DJ. The building is medium-sized and build rectangular so there is ample length as compared to the width. There was no one at the Hostess booth when I walked in, however, the young lady got up from one of the tables in the back, greeted me, and quickly took us to our table. Once seated, the waitress assigned to our table came over and was super nice and welcoming. She introduced herself as Shay and went over the specials for the night. As the ambiance is more than just a casual bar, Shay’s service was superior. Her personality shined and she enhanced the overall experience of the night. Thank you, Shay! Based on the specials for the night I decided to go with the 3 Chicken Birriia Tacos for $9 (this was a great deal as they are usually $20) and a side of fries. As they didn’t have Sweet Tea on the menu I ordered a bottle of water. Shout out to Barrio ATL for serving Fiji. Ha. Babeeeeeeeeee… Here me when I tell you… I don’t know what kind of potatoes these fries were made with but they were the BOMBBBBBBBB. They were thick, perfectly fried, golden to perfection, and well seasoned. For the record, I would go back for the fries alone. LoL! The birria tacos were good as well. As this was my first time having them I don’t have anything to compare them to, however, I enjoyed the experience. The crunchiness of the taco shell with the well-seasoned chicken. The birria consomé was well seasoned and definitely enhanced the flavor of the taco, as such, for my first birria experience I enjoyed it. Furthermore, if the chicken was this good, I can’t wait to try the beef. Overall Barrio ATL is def one to add to the checklist when you are looking for a vibe. The DJ was on point, the ambiance was hittin like it needed to be, and the overall flow of the environment was ideal for a kick it/unwind/grab a drink type of vibe.“

“So Today was my second time going to this spot today . Both times I order a veggie plate . For food was good but could be better.I didn’t cook so close to home cooking with me doing it lol. My return isn’t just about the food the service and old feeling of southern hospitality . I’m from Atlanta not to many spots like this still around so I try to support black own businesses in my City . Funny how you get in line and people remind you of your upbringing if your from a large family standing in waiting for them to ask you what you having. . “I have ordered from her several times. We have tried several things, so here you go: Wings (honey hot are the bomb), beef hot dogs and fries are good. Turkey wings were good but could've been more tender. Cabbage and Mac and cheese (nah, not good) Philly Cheese Steak ( salty as hell) Do Not Try if you have Diabetes. Definitely a waste of money. Cornbread Dressing tasted more like cornbread (says my husband) Her customer service is GREAT!!! She's friendly and understanding. We will definitely order again. “I Was Completely Blown Away At This Restaurant. I Was Sat By A Beautiful Host Which Turn Out To Be My Server. Renisha Was Very Knowledgeable About The Ga Craft Beers. She did an amazing job by explaining each item on the menu. I Gave Her The Opportunity Of Ordering My Food and Beer. Oh Boy She Did Not Disappoint. I had the Blackened Catfish with rice and beans and an Orange Still Diva Beer To Drink. It was her two favorite items and I had no complaints! Renisha service was the best service I have had in years. My water cup was never low and if I had more time I would have had another beer. Renisha Was Very Patient With Me Even Though The Restaurant Was Very Busy. She is also a team player and is willing to pick up the slack from others. “Decent, seasoned, and home cooked fell. Short ribs were really good and hearty. Chicken was well seasoned. Mac and cheese was good also. Cornbread was a little hard but I mixed it with the greens to soften it. If you are hungry, you will definitely be satisfied eating here.“

“The smothered chicken and rice was 9/10. Very flavorful, I wanted just a little less salt. It wasn’t overpowering but it was just a little too much. Cabbage and green beans were solid.
