“My fellow traveler and I stopped by on our way home to Virginia. It was a long day of travel, delayed flights, we just wanted to sit down and chill. We didn’t expect much out of an airport restaurant… But we were both blown away. Our server, Tarvis, was charming, professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional. The BLT with bacon jam, and the rice pudding with cinnamon and peaches was superb. (I could’ve eaten a whole jar of the bacon jam.) I didn't like that the chef put his hat down for a tip, which each of my party members paid 5 to 10 dollars each, and we paid the 15% gratuity, which was automatically added to our bill. I think the 15% should not be automatic if we are tipping the chef. We had a waiter and wanted to leave him a tip until we saw the 15% added to our bill.“

I was offered a menu and informed that the prices have increased slightly but I was OK with that because I knew that I was in for a treat. I ordered Thai shrimp fried rice, Massaman curry, mango sticky rice ,and a side of fried rice. I’m glad I decided to treat myself to this afternoon delight of wonderful Thai dishes. this is not my first visit and it definitely won’t be my last.
