“Passing through on our way to Atlanta. This place was close to our hotel and had a covered patio where they welcomed our toy poodle. THEN, the service, the food! Best oysters on the half shell ever - rivaling the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station in New York City. Fried green tomatoes - delicious! Popcorn shrimp terrific! Yummy Cole slaw and cheesy grits. I was amazed and delighted to have found this treasure. Such friendly and fun staff served us very quickly and graciously. Great experience!!!”

I was greeted like I was welcome 🙏🏿 Young lady that goes by sunshine I believe assisted me with my order, I had no idea what I really wanted, she made some suggestions. This was not a problem at all as I don't mind waiting. They asked if we wanted to sit at the bar and we said yes. The girl bartending was taking care of us. She was nice but she was so busy!! It may sound silly to brag about a pretzel because they are a simpler item, but after having nasty ones at different places, it is a great surprise to have a great one! Always love the other food items, variety of drink combinations, and of course the shakes and ice creams.”

“I walked in and there was somebody at the register helping people. one employee was mopping the dining room and the place looked very clean and nobody seemed agitated. I ordered carry out and sat down to wait, and the register person brought me my coffee which I thought was really nice. Another employee brought another opder couple their breakfast. The place seemed well organized and managed and the employees should get a raise for being so efficient and calm”

“We catered Sam’s BBQ for my father’s repast. We ordered a full meal with three meats, several sides, cornbread muffins, drinks, etc. to serve 80+ people. The meal was incredible, everyone raved about delicious everything tasted. The delivery was on time and Sam’s team did a great job setting up the food on serving tables with sternos to keep the food warm. I will gladly cater my next meal with Sam’s and recommend you check them out.”

“We make a point of stopping at Smok'n Pig in Valdosta whenever we're driving from Florida to visit our grandkids in Indiana. The food is excellent and so is the service.
One time our server, Ethan, noticed the sun was shining into the window and bothering my wife. He took the time to change the window blind so the sun was no longer in her eyes. While the food is very good, it is the little things by people like Ethan which will keep us coming back.”

“Came here to eat tonight and service was a little slow which is understandable with such a short staff (as the Manager's wife told me rudely while inquiring for more workers) What isn't understandable or acceptable is the fact that my step son found a SCREW, yes A SCREW in his quesadilla. When we informed the staff we were told we would receive a free replacement for his meal, his meal taken off of the receipt, and a discount ($5 off the whole ticket) His replacement never arrived even after being reassured 5 times by not only the staff but the Manager's wife. When it was brought to her attention, again, 2hours later she said she would speak with her husband via phone. Never came back. Never got a refund. Never got a replacement. Never got an actual apology. And will never be going back to this establishment.”
