“For my birthday, we finally got out to try Lion of Judah since we've been seeing posts and recommendations in our community groups for a while now. Nearly everyone has raved about how good the food is, and despite never having tried Ethiopian cuisine before, we expected that we would like it. We were definitely not disappointed! We had the chips and hummus, beef and chicken sambusas, beef and chicken tibs, and the hibiscus tea. Everything was delicious! We opted for medium spice, but honestly we will probably try spicy next time because while flavorful, it was not particularly hot so I think I could handle it 😆”

“We catered Sam’s BBQ for my father’s repast. We ordered a full meal with three meats, several sides, cornbread muffins, drinks, etc. to serve 80+ people. The meal was incredible, everyone raved about delicious everything tasted. The delivery was on time and Sam’s team did a great job setting up the food on serving tables with sternos to keep the food warm. I will gladly cater my next meal with Sam’s and recommend you check them out.”

Best oysters on the half shell ever - rivaling the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station in New York City. Fried green tomatoes - delicious! Popcorn shrimp terrific! Yummy Cole slaw and cheesy grits. I was amazed and delighted to have found this treasure. Such friendly and fun staff served us very quickly and graciously. Great experience!!!”

When we informed the staff we were told we would receive a free replacement for his meal, his meal taken off of the receipt, and a discount ($5 off the whole ticket) His replacement never arrived even after being reassured 5 times by not only the staff but the Manager's wife. When it was brought to her attention, again, 2hours later she said she would speak with her husband via phone. Never came back. Never got a refund. Never got a replacement. Never got an actual apology. And will never be going back to this establishment.”

Parking: There are other shops next to Firehouse so parking may be a problem if you visit during lunchtime.”

I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly and my drink order taken. I ordered the guacamole w chips to start. It was very good and a good sized portion. I was surprised no meal specials on a Monday night. I ordered a burrito and it was very good. A nice place.”

I tried to call to see if anyone had turned in a lost key and the phone rang about 15 times with no answer. Not everyone wants to place an order when they call so they should at least answer the phone and find out why someone is calling.”

Followed up by excellent steak, chicken, and shrimp fajitas, enchiladas, chili relenos, tostadas, rice & beans, and a few things we didn't recognize but were simply delicious. Don’t go to Ming’s for Americanized Chinese, you go here for Mandarin hot chicken/beef with a side of fried rice or noodles. Valdosta doesn't have much authentic stuff, but when it does it’s most likely the world traveled folk or Military that’ll actually acknowledge it.”

I honestly was not impressed with the food quality. It was almost 20 dollars for each dish. The gyro was barely filled and the macaroni tasted like Kraft Mac n cheese. I think they honestly charged to much. The server was okay. The booth seat needs more padding. The table was sticky and instead of wiping it down we were offered a different table. 🤷‍♀️”
