“We catered Sam’s BBQ for my father’s repast. We ordered a full meal with three meats, several sides, cornbread muffins, drinks, etc. to serve 80+ people. The meal was incredible, everyone raved about delicious everything tasted. The delivery was on time and Sam’s team did a great job setting up the food on serving tables with sternos to keep the food warm. I will gladly cater my next meal with Sam’s and recommend you check them out.“

The owner is one of the most kind and humble servant-to-the-people restaurant owners I’ve ever met—her smile and personality are absolutely infectious. You can feel the heart and hospitality the moment you walk in. She was so kind to my daughter as well giving her a piece of cake for her birthday.

The food? Immaculate. Every bite was full of flavor and clearly cooked with love and care. It’s easily some of the best-tasting barbecue I’ve ever had. If you’re anywhere near the area, this is a must-stop spot. You won’t regret it!“

“Second time stopping here. We stopped here mainly because of a review on the app bring Fido. I had the chopped brisket sandwich with Cajun fries. Good size sandwich and ample portion of fries. My wife had the pulled pork with Mac and cheese. Good also. Our dogs were able to relax on the outdoor patio. Dog friendly.“

“We make a point of stopping at Smok'n Pig in Valdosta whenever we're driving from Florida to visit our grandkids in Indiana. The food is excellent and so is the service.
One time our server, Ethan, noticed the sun was shining into the window and bothering my wife. He took the time to change the window blind so the sun was no longer in her eyes. While the food is very good, it is the little things by people like Ethan which will keep us coming back.“

“Nice selection of food. If you got it when it comes out, the chicken, fish, veggies, and desserts are unbeatable. Once they sit a while, not so much. Plenty of guests did take out, but we ate in. Not really a large group friendly place, but you can take over a section.“

“My family stopped in while traveling and I have to brag on this place. The food was amazing but the service was outstanding!! There was a young lady named Dakota I think, she went above and beyond. She joked with my kids and gave them all bracelets. She is absolutely amazing and we were blessed to have a chance to speak with her. 10/10 recommend!! “We used the on-line order to go and this works pretty good for us. Ordered the Flo’s fillet baked potato and Caesar Salad. Also the chicken meal similar sides and both were excellent. Portions were decent sized and we ended up eating the salads the next day concentrating on the hot food first. The on-line system works great and I will make use of this again on my next road trip.“

“I tried cookout for the first time a couple weeks and I gotta say I definitely will be eating there from time to time. There’s a lot of good with only a small about of bad. The bad would be just that it’s nothing special, very typical American food I’d say the most unique thing would be the selection they have for there items. The good, it’s very cheap and not in a quality way. The food tastes good not great but the price justifies it! Definitely recommend.“
