Every dish I get from the Pond is delicious! I had the pecan-crusted rainbow trout, the sea bass, the rib-eye steak, the Sunday brunch, and the lunch buffet! Not to mention the Dirty Martini they make is the best I've had in a while! The wine was excellent too!
We love working with the Pond on our events. The food is amazing every time!
We could not have asked for a better, more memorable, meaningful or delicious rehearsal dinner for our son, his now-bride, and our guests. Joe and his staff at the Pond far exceeded our hopes and imagination for what turned out to be an exceptional night. Run, don't walk(!!) to the Pond if you want a group event that will not be forgotten, for all of the best reasons!

The Pond Restaurant provides a mixed dining experience. While the waterfront location is considered "cool," the quality of the food has been inconsistent. The breakfast buffet is praised for its variety, including quiche, eggs, salmon croquettes, shrimp, biscuits and gravy, avocado toast, sausages, bacon, ham, potatoes, and thick cheese grits. The Bloody Mary is also a highlight.
However, some guests have been disappointed with their meals. The steak, described as a thin and very fatty NY Strip, lacked flavor and seasoning. The salmon was reported to be dry. The Adult Chicken Fingers meal was dry and not juicy, though the fries were standard. The presentation of the dishes was considered simple, with no sauces or garnishes.
Despite the mixed reviews on the food, the staff has been commended for their excellent service, and the bartenders have been praised for serving strong drinks at a good value. The venue's waterfront location is considered a positive aspect, though the maintenance of the outdoor areas, such as the fountain, needs attention. The food is delicious, including the salmon dip and the oxtails with mashed potatoes. The service and hospitality are incredible. The venue is amazing.
