I had the ribs. They were ok. I've had better, but I've had worse. Their sauces are very good as is the coleslaw! I'll be back next time I'm coming thru Waycross at lunch
Just a great all around experience. Amazing customer service from the host. The young lady with the glasses and Nate made my day thank you.

Based on the reviews, Hog-N-Bones is a fast casual BBQ place where customers order at a counter and food is brought to them. The meat is smoked, which is very important to some. The pulled pork had a different consistency and lacked a smoky flavor compared to other BBQ places, but the meat overall was pretty good. The house sauce had a great zip. The number 5, which includes chicken and ribs, was tender, juicy, and flavorful. Other menu items mentioned include quesadillas, the Texas Bbq sandwich, and a sandwich. The coleslaw was authentic and good, the green beans were nostalgic, and the baked beans were delicious. The fries were soft, not crispy, and the bread was very greasy. The price was surprisingly good and the portions matched the cost. The restaurant was SUPER clean and absolutely adorable, with Christian artwork and values displayed. The staff was friendly and altered a sandwich request with a smile. The music was also enjoyed. It is a toss up, but overall it was not bad.
