The food was delicious, the setup was great, and everyone was very friendly. I am so glad that I used the Blue Room for hosting a bridal shower… it was perfect.
The food is delicious. Menu is thoughtful and not just the standard for a cafe. The servers are kind and courteous and do a wonderful job. What impressed me most is the care the owner takes in making sure you have a pleasurable experience. When someone cares that much about their space it speaks volumes in my book. Definitely grab a bite and check out their beautiful boutique. We will definitely be back.
We arrived before 11, walked out at 12:25 without any food served. Every table around us ate and left. Never again.

The Crest Cafe & Shoppe is a wonderful addition to downtown, located in a historical building. The atmosphere is very inviting, cozy, calm, peaceful, and very Southern, offering a perfect balance between sophisticated and casual. It is a place to slow down and enjoy a meal, not for people in a rush.
The selection of meals is great and the food is excellent, delicious, beautifully plated, and very plentiful. Specific dishes praised include the bruschetta, shrimp and grits, eggs Benedict, caramel macchiato, sweet potato bowl, ACIA Bowl, and The Crest Salad. There are also appreciated vegan options.
The staff is friendly, helpful, and precious. The restaurant is clean and unique, featuring a small shopping area in the front. It is considered an amazing hidden gem and absolutely worth the stop.
