“Traveling some back roads in GA and looked up a place to eat. Sambo's isn't much to look at, but the food is good, inexpensive (when's the last time you heard that) and plentiful. If you find yourself on state road 129 headed north check Sambo's out. Friendly service too.“

“The town's name is Willacoochee so we had to stop. But it was 6:30am and Mary's was all that was open other than Piggly Wiggly. I couldn't see through the windows because they had so much condensation from the A/C inside set on 62. There was one old cowboy eating breakfast so I went to the counter and asked for what he was having. I was given a styrofoam plate, half full of the most stunning cheese grits I've ever had, eggs that were delicious with a little pepper sauce sprinkled on top, a moist sausage patty, and a perfectly salted biscuit with jam. I also got a tall glass of ice cold milk, all for $4.50. An amazing deal for its quality and quantity. I took a seat at the plastic family reunion table and chairs and thoroughly enjoyed my food while admiring the many taxiderm animals on the wall. Don't let the crumbling wallpaper with silk flowers taped on it fool you, this is a 10/10 eating experience.“
