“I only gave atmosphere 3☆☆☆ 's because we went in the drive thru. We drove down to Griffen Capt D's, because our favorite one and the closest, used to be in Lovejoy - until it was shut down about a year ago. Maybe longer. We tried 2 times to go to the one in Fayetteville, but that place is horrific. I made a review and got a response from someone claiming to be the owner. I thought maybe I would get some sort of resolve, but was told to go to the corporate website. I did. Nothing from them whatsoever. Pathetic way to treat paying customers or run a business.
The Griffin Capt D's has restored our faith!!! Ordering was a great experience. Very pleasant young lady. It was quick service and very friendly, personable person at the window. The food was very good as well! I will include photos of what we ordered next.“

“The food is Always good. I love the atmosphere. There is great music playing with a train running on the tracks overhead. The decor takes me back to the show Happy Days with the Fonz (Henry Winkler). They even feature a stuffed cool cow on a motorcycle set at eye level for everyone to see & admire. Of course the entire Team is awesome! It’s our home away from home. It’s an experience you don’t want to miss!“

Update😿: this last time was not so friendly. The male in drive thru was on his phone the entire time. He simply reached out with open hand for my payment... not stating how much or even a greeting.
Didn't give my drink until after the meal was handed out. Could've been sipping my drink while waiting.
Gave my meal, drink, receipt & card with one hand, without a word to me. While still chatting on the phone with the other hand, he simply shut the window. No greeting, no asking if I need condiments, not one word!
Was NOT busy as I was the only customer inside or out.

Update: after frequenting the DQ closet to home several times... I returned here and just like before...

U get friendly and attentive staff, not otherwise engaged.
U get assembled food, not slapped together in hast. Just look at my burger pics!
I ate the cheese curds before photographing, they were piping hot and the crispy thin breading was addictive... teeheehee“

“Being from the west coast, I’ve always enjoyed whataburger and was surprised to see the franchise move east. The restaurant was very clean and each employee was making sure it stayed that way. They greeted everyone with a smile. Choice of music was nice and wasn’t overly loud. Matt who took our order was extremely polite and professional. An employee like him needs to be recognized and most definitely a pay raise. Well done guys. Alexis was also very polite. Thank you guys“

“Food & service is usually good. Today, my JBC didn't have any bacon on it. Also, shouldn't a Baconator have more than 1 piece of bacon broke in 3 pieces? Isn't the reason it's called a Baconator because it's supposed to have a lot of bacon on it?“

“When we got there they were only two gentlemen working they gave us great service and the food was great. While we were dining a young crew come in and the gentlemen left. One had hair down to her knees which I know is not within health code. They just stood around and loudly talked after we cleared our table we said y'all have a good day they looked at us like we were intruding on their conversation. So glad we got there before their shift started in the older gentlemen took care of us.“

“This restaurant has a small dining area with a row of seats at a high top counter and maybe four more wooden tables with metal chairs. You order at the counter and your food is delivered to you. The menu is tacos, burritos, Tortas and nachos. The tacos are street style. I had tacos al pastor and a fish taco. The al pastor had raw onion, cilantro and fresh pineapple slivers. It was delicious and cost just $2.50. The fish taco was served with cabbage and a mayonnaise peppery sauce. I liked it a lot but the al pastor was my favorite. There were two other customers in the dining area and one appeared to have a generous sized burrito. They were out of al fresco so I had a bottle of water which was a bit pricey I thought. It would be nice to have tap water as an option. They also served Coke products and Mexican Coke and other sodas but no alcohol. The al pastor would pair well with a Corona. They have a drive thru window. The place is new and I hope they make it as the tacos I had were very tasty and I plan to return and try more. They have beef tongue, beef cheek, pork carnitas, chorizo, shrimp and vegetable tacos.“

“I did DoorDash pick up and my app decided when I was picking my food up was a great time to not work. The employee (didn’t catch her name) was nice and patient with me about the whole thing, and even helped me out to confirm my order.

They’re always super friendly in there, it’s always clean, and the food never tastes overly greasy.“
