Robin makes a pastry called Mamoul filled with tantalizing combinations of fruit, spices, and nuts. I selected the pistachio/rose Mamouls, but also got to try the sour cherry/almond one. They were delicious beyond my comprehension! If you serve these desert pastries to guests, don't be upset if they leave you just a tiny morsel of them on the plate. It wouldn't be their fault - their impulse control would be muted by the deliciousness of Robin's pastries!“
